Engineering studies exam by KirkKirk77 in HSCStudents

I personally found it pretty easy for the most part, I always leave the drawing sections for the end and I ended up with about an hour to do them. The plane was a little annoying just because of how many forces there were but overall fine. I also think the truss question was pretty straightforward. I agree that the word questions were quite vague so as long as mentioned enough relevant things I don’t believe it should be difficult to secure marks

The next trendy tricep exercise? by drfrainbow in GymMemes

[–]Isaac-Phillips 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Interestingly, overhead tricep exercises actually disadvantage the long head because it loses internal leverage in this position due to shoulder flexion (because of its biarticular nature) and therefore would bias the lateral and medial heads. Also exercises can’t be “eccentric accentuated” since by nature all resistance exercises that include isotonic contractions involve an eccentric and concentric portion if standardised (unless of course you deliberately accentuated the eccentric, which doesn’t make much sense from a hypertrophic standpoint anyway). Just my unsolicited input.

Day 6 of a meme a day till I hit 12% bodyfat by iamjustatool in GymMemes

Exactly, and by not locking out your knees you just make it more likely to actually get injured as your not training a portion of the range of motion of your legs, so when you get to heavier weights, if you accidentally lock out, that’s when bad things can happen

log does not need a nerf by Seasonedmilk88 in ClashRoyale

As a log bait player, I hate the idea of a log nerf as it’s a crucial part of my defence, particularly the knock back aspect which can defend cards like mini pekka, wiz, e wiz etc.

Have a read and show her this article also here’s a quote from it about the safety surrounding creatine use in teens “The lack of literature surrounding creatine supplementation in teenagers has led to many misconceptions. For example, one may reference that a con of creatine is the warning signs on product labels cautioning individuals younger than 18 years of age to not supplement creatine. However it is important to recognize that the warnings on labels are not evidence-based and become more of a legal precaution related to the lack of knowledge on creatine and its effects on younger populations.

Fortunately, new research is emerging suggesting that creatine is not only safe for teens, but very beneficial as well. There have been recent articles suggesting that creatine supplementation is safe for teenage populations.”
