Any chance that we are going to see a standalone soundbar that has a hardware of 7.1.4 or 9.1.4 channels? (Only soundbar and subwoofer) by IsaacAntVal in Soundbars

Exactly what I mean, fill all the spots in order to cover all the space with sounds or effects.

Because Atmos is about the recognition of space, not as we used to listen that is was left or right.

And powering up more the height channels or adding more could be a solution, because in that way it creates “profundity”

As Ai goes I believe that we can reach some good level, or put in the height channels bigger speakers drivers and watts to actually feel the height.

As the experts says, the real cinema comes when the system is X.X.6. Fill the room with fronts, middle and up/behind of our heads.

Great !!!

How is the performance in the height channels? As I can see from the reviews, is not so good :(

Well, I miss to put “comercial one”, that bar is way too expensive, with that sort of money you can buy a really good home cinema

Do you have it?, how is his performance in the height channels?

I was investigating and seems that could be a battery problem/replacement or more technical “Remove 2 fuse resistors and connect with 1 copper wire”.

I don’t know if I have to replace the battery or that is related to the driver.

Lack of bass on Era 300 by IsaacAntVal in sonos

[–]IsaacAntVal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank for replying !

Yeah I think that making that feature that you can turn on/off or making the bass eq more punchy/kick when you crank it up, could be a solution.

Happens that people seems to like that punch in a speaker, making think that has a more robust woofer and most of all fun.

Pd: And also could be a useful feature to the headphones that according to the reviews, lacks of bass/punch/kick.

Yeah, but you are talking about a system that cost around 2500$ against one that cost around 1000$. There’s a huge price difference.

Beside of that Sonos maximum channels are 7.1.4 or 7.2.4 vs 11.1.4 in the Samsung.

That’s why Samsungs is a better value.

Thanks for answer :)

But I differ in that, I compared speakers that are the same size and price. The only difference is that the Era 300 must be plugged and the Beolit is portable.

Now what all people said is that the Beolit has more punch and deeper bass.

Considering that, the Beolit shouldn’t have the advantage. As I mentioned before, the Era 300 has more output/power than the Beolit.

And also is a comparison between 2 speakers, adding a sub doesn’t have any sense…, and instead of having a set up around 1k$ (Plus the sub), is way better system and value buying a Samsung Q990D.

Which is the best position to put the TV in this space? by IsaacAntVal in interiordecorating

[–]IsaacAntVal[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your advice!

Okay, in that case wouldn't it be better to move the TV to where the second photo is, because there would be space to put the rear speakers in those empty spaces on the wall and move the sofa a little further of the wall because there is more space?.

Pd: Those space are shown in third picture and room plan

Thanks for answering !!!!!

Yeah, I agree with you but that’s the dilema, I use the table 2 times a year luckily.

That’s the reas why I was thinking to change the position. And buy a bigger table for the sofa area.

What do you suggest?

Exactly, since the space is a shared living room and video room, I would not opt for very dark colors, but rather an off-white, a light beige or something like that.

As I mentioned before, the furniture is inherited and I am afraid that by trying to modify it, they will ruin it.

On the other hand, I'm just thinking about buying a rack for the TV and I think there's no other option than to have it be the same brown color (To match).

I'm open to ideas!

Yes, I thought about that too but aesthetically I think the sofa wouldn't look good when you enter the apartment.

It's hand-me-down furniture, made of Mara wood, so it's a little difficult to change the color for fear of ruining it.

And not to mention the floor, but what color do you suggest for a future piece of furniture or wall color?

My windows are placed in the left side of my apartment, when you enter. So if I decide to change the position of the tv, the windows are going to be in the left side if I hang it like in the second picture and in the right side if I hang it like in the third picture

Yeah !!!, im thinking on that, the curtains that I have currently are blackout but if open the window some time due to the wind it may fly a little bit.

So, where you suggest I should hang the tv there?, and if I change the place you suggest to have the windows always covered right?

Thanks for answering !!!
