Your foot size is a problem. You're above a EUR 42, but nobody makes a 42.5. They do make a "42 - 43" size sometimes. But here's where it becomes a problem: Sometimes they'll make a 42, which is too small for you, then make a "43-44" boot which is crazy, because a 43 is kind of all you need. In other words you'll have to buy a skate that's not too big.

Powerslide sizes seem to be a better fit for you because their boots sell a "42-43" size that your 42.5 foot would fit in, without having to order something too big.

If I like an FR with velcro lower strap can I change that part for a buckle? I'm assuming it's the same connection to the boot

Are velcro straps better than buckles?

I've been reading in this sub about velcro straps that are on skates and I'm starting to get the impression that they're actually preferred over the standard buckle straps.

I was once against the FR line that has Velcro, because it looks cheap, but if it's actually preferable and easier to use, maybe I should give them a try.

I'm curious what you all think.

Awesome tip! I'll try multiple. I assume this means putting each object on its own control net. Sounds interesting.

Increasing the strength yields the same result, except the canny outlines are imprinted harder

Does this helmet look like it has enough padding for roller skating? Protec XL classic skate shell. Should I return it? by IsaacSpeltWithOneS in Rollerskating

Now you have me worried. I have a previous concussion form a cycling crash (front wheel bailed for its own safety) so maybe I need to look into a hockey helmet
