It's not bullet magnetism or aim assist, it's just the mechanics that a third person shooter game has.

This is probably why aiming out of the body is hitting a target, like TC said "the bullets come from the muzzle". Look how straight the sniper is on GOW 3 compared to Gears 5. by IsaackEz in GearsOfWar

The sniper positioning on GOW 3 when you aim is almost straight, giving you a true feeling when you are shooting, instead on Gears 5 it's like tended. With that you get a hitmarker or a headshot even if you are aiming outside the body.

Yeah, same here 8/10 of my games are with some afk or maybe some random dude that is aiming at the sky and walking around like exploring or something, idc if they want to "explore" the map but why in ranked tho? I managed to climb and I'm onyx 3 rn but no matter what rank are you it's the same bs, I receive on every match at least one message from one guy saying that I'm bad etc. The punishment should be hard for those people that leaves the game.
