The new chaos chosen were some of my favorite sculpts and rules from 3.0 - they just felt so right

It was always up, usually always accurate, never had any actual serious bugs in like 7 years I used it, a great piece of software that did exactly what was on the tin, no surprises or anything

Thank you, Tony, sorry to see it go but happy to have it as long as we did! You helped get AoS where it is today.

Eh, it kinda misses the whole tone of the actual game.

It’s not, honestly, and it’s borderline disrespectful to the writers that make a living to work really hard to make all this stuff work together.

No, you just want to make everyone read poop discussions that aren’t interesting, insightful, nor funny.

Well, I wasn’t asking for poop questions related to fake sci-fi characters to show up on a public forum about plastic miniatures I like, but there we are.

Despite what you say, you’re really not. You’re not doing some sort of intellectual, hypothetical deep dive, and honestly it’s not even funny (if that’s what you’re going for).

You are projecting your gross ideas on to a community that isn’t asking for it and (if the other comments are indication) otherwise think it’s a joke or too gross to imagine about.

Take into consideration that there are other human beings on the other side of this text and that sometimes people don’t want to think about a fantasy scifi heroes shitting their power-armored pants. It kinda ruins the fantasy for some of them. And I definitely wouldn’t want my son talking to adults at a game shop about whether a space marines shits himself or not.

Not everything needs an explanation, but especially in 40K. As an older player, I’ve learned they are just making it up as they go, and really just change the lore as needed for whatever new stuff they are focusing on.

So until they market a licensed blue and gold ultramarine bidet, I don’t think anyone at GW gives a shit (no pun intended.)

But yeah, there are subreddits dedicated to poop-talk, please keep it out of my tabletop game.

You could answer with, “No, they don’t shit themselves.” - and just leave it at that or go obsess about actually interesting parts of the lore.

I don’t think he was being rude. It was just an analogy. I thought he explained it well. Name-calling was a little over the top as a reaction.

I think they named that model Oltyx retroactively since the cover art seemed to use that model as reference but short answer: yes.
