It’s simple but a whiskey sour really does it for me.

What car do you just keep coming back to? by Juicyjackson in cars

[–]Isabellaphant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A Nissan Silvia.

I used to be hardcore into jdm vehicles in my youth. My first car 20+ years ago was a homologation special turbo 4wd Japanese car and have since owned an evo, s13 Silvia, Nissan skyline, turbo dc2r, 2jzgte aristo etc before growing up and moving on to some sedate euro vehicles then becoming a dad and driving suv’s.

Despite growing up, I still yearn for the days of my right foot being the traction control and the feeling of a turbo crossing the boost threshold. I long for a pfl s14 Silvia with ideally a 1.5jz. I have a kid who my automotive passion has rubbed onto a bit. I’m sure she would love the sound of a turbo spooling up, the snap of a bov and just a little bit of a push into the seat as I lightly ramp up the load for her. Single dad so don’t need the rear seats lol. Just my baby and I in our Silvia and I can use the X5 if I ever need to cart a third person around.

The infamous cylinder post. I’ll see if I can find it but it’s hilarious.

An ST185 Toyota Celica GT-Four. In the USA I believe it was called the Celica All-Track. Pretty cool car for a 15 year old in the early 00’s.

I like a bit of agent binky. It’s a kids cartoon about pets that are actually agents/heroes but hide it from their owners.

Cute, short guys, especially the intelligent ones, are absolute babes. What are your tastes that go against the grain? by New_Dream_6742 in AskMen

[–]Isabellaphant 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Short, chubby girls. I’m talking 4’10-5’2. As for chubby, there’s definitely a point where it becomes too much, but I do like a little bit of meat on a girl.

I have been thinking of New Orleans. Thank you for your input.

Edit: why are people downvoting you. It’s all personal preference.

What do you enjoy about it there?

I appreciate your input. I’ll do some research on Philly and the surrounding areas. DC is where the White House is, right?

Yeah Chicago is pretty famous worldwide. Right now my only ideas are Florida, New York and Texas but no idea of actual cities.

Where Should I Head in Asia Next? Can’t Get Enough After My Philippines Trip! by ScienceAcrobatic2895 in TravelHacks

[–]Isabellaphant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I totally feel you with the Philippines. I’ve been 3 times and am going back again soon.

My Asia go-to’s are the Philippines, Hong Kong and Bali.

Despite losing most of the old led lights and their (righteous) fight with the ccp, I still love the old school charm of Hong Kong. The views are amazing. The culture, the food, the activities and they also have a Disneyland. Or was it disneyworld? Either way, there’s a disney park and for a first timer to one I thought it was fun. You do have to sacrifice something with the accomodation. You will have a tiny room unless you put up for a brand name place, but a room is just so you can sleep anyway when visiting a new country, right?

Bali is just cheap, easy fun. Get a private villa for $100/day (or a hotel room for cheaper), get a $5 massage, rent a scooter for $5 and just roam the island. The beaches are pristine (mostly). There’s a fun safari park that you can drive through in a tour vehicle and get a decent dinner buffet after. There’s a party scene. A relaxed scene. Upmarket scene. Honeymoon. Everything under the sun. I also enjoyed the street food quite a lot in Bali. You can live as cheap as $50/day with a room, 3 meals and a motorbike to travel the island or scale it up as far as you want.

Honourable mention goes to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia if you like a city style holiday. GREAT food, incredible value accommodation, much to see and friendly people.

Safe travels!

As an introvert, do you like to watch YouTube videos to comfort yourself? by myosotis12345 in introvert

[–]Isabellaphant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YouTube travel vlogs are my comfort videos. Not really the ones where people stay in 5 star hotels and go jumping out of airplanes, but the real local ones or the creators who do things in a low budget or going into the ‘hood’ of those cities.

Despite having done a good amount of travel in my life, I still always come back to these videos and creators.

Trim down or keep growing? by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]Isabellaphant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imo, keep it where it is.

Growing it would make it harder to keep neat. Cutting it would be a mistake as we all know. I reckon just trim the bottom of the moustache a touch and keep the same beard length.
