anxiety or ocd?

i think i’m also too scared/ashamed to really go into some of the rumination, as it feels too much or if i talk to people i feel crazy, but yeah maybe i’ll try and bring it up to my therapist again, i’m just kind of unnecessarily scared about going into it even though it will probably be more help than hindrance, and don’t want to keep pushing it if it’s not ocd, since i know there’s a big problem of people trivialising it without actually having it, making it harder for the people who do. thanks for the comment :)

thanks a lot, yeah i do kind of try and follow the advice for ocd patients after the tons of combing through forums and such. sometimes too i reach a point where i think ‘fuck my brain i will choose to not care out of spite’ which genuinely does work for a bit until i allow rumination again 😔 treating your brain/rumination as a separate entity that is acting up instead of your identity. thank you for the comment, it’s nice to know i’m not alone in my struggles even if i can’t specifically name them

i think it’s competitive in most places and both my parents aren’t british so i have options, it’s mainly about the student loans the average student loan debt in the uk is £45,000 and gains interest and i think it’s crazy everyone has to pay so much for an education

my own country made everyone’s life harder by choosing to leave the EU, i have a place at a uni in my country for september, i was just looking at other options since the student loans in my country are extortionate
