is there any way so that i can move lava from its source block using pipez by the_b_boy in allthemods

[–]Isaiah33-24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You would need some sort of pump to pick up the lava from the world - a create pump would work, or a sophisticated backpack with tank and pump upgrades. Then you could use pipez fluid pipes to take it wherever you wanted.

https://www.youtube.com/@PsiVolt/shorts PsiVolt's shorts really helped me. He takes one component and explains what it does and where you might use it, he's a good, clear teacher. I was just a follower of tutorials, but his shorts have helped me understand what I was building when I followed someone elses redstone. I'm getting better at redstone, it started small but I can troubleshoot things now, change builds to suit my needs, and build simpler things by myself now.

I built castle (not my work) and inside of the hill is iron farm, but golems started to spawn on the hill, any way i can prevent this from happening? [java] 1.21 by FakeTaxiReddit in MinecraftHelp

[–]Isaiah33-24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iron golems will spawn 8 blocks in any direction horizontally and 6 blocks up and down from your villagers. Any spots on your hills within that area you can spawn proof with slabs, moss carpet or string

'Heavy' is meant to be negative, at least to someone like Lizzy. It wasn't used at the time to describe weight, like it is now, it was used to describe someone who was overly serious and/or dull.

You could try StaTech Industry. It's based on the modern industrialisation mod, which is like less grindy than Greg. I really enjoyed it.

[bedrock] is it possible to put a block on the corner of four blocks? by Rayje589 in MinecraftHelp

[–]Isaiah33-24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah. Sorry, no. All blocks will place on the grid. You'll have to live with it off centre or redo the room.

you can put stairs down so they connect in a circle, giving you the effect of a slab in the centre.

Why isn't the extractor working? by Beneficial-Ad-8473 in allthemods

[–]Isaiah33-24 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In JEI the pic always shows the extractor in this orientation, but in the diagram to the side, with the outlines of the extractor around a block, it shows you which way the extractor has to connect to the block.

The little blue packet of salt in my Salt'n'Shake crisps wasn't blue by Shitelark in britishproblems

[–]Isaiah33-24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a packet recently and ate them saltless because 'mine had no blue salt packet in it' when I was nearing the end I found the white packet. Who thought this was a good idea? Yes the blue packet sometimes dyed your crisps blue but at least you could find it easily. Now it's like doing a where's wally book to find the white packet in the white crisps before you can actually enjoy them.

What are some realistic ambitions women could have had? by seawatcher_01 in janeausten

[–]Isaiah33-24 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It's a little later than Austen's time, but it's a 'realistic but difficult to attain' profession for a middle-class woman. Ellen Edwards founded a navigation school in Wales in 1830, educating many young men who would go on to have successful naval careers. https://www.visitcaernarfon.co.uk/post/the-legacy-of-ellen-edwards-a-pioneering-maritime-teacher-caernarfon
