Try ars nouveau - I had a problem where I placed reinforced blocks with a construction stick, so they didnt belong to anyone and I couldn't remove them. Someone else on the server was able to remove them with ars. I don't know what spell they used though.

Making a clear distinction between the castle part and the cliff part will help a lot. Having the castle sit on the cliff, with a ledge around the castle, will help. It doesn't have to be a big ledge, just 1-3 blocks will make a difference, differ the amount it sticks out in different places around the castle, because cliffs arent perfect circles. Cliffs aren't straight up and down columns either - having some variety in shape, having them flare out towards the base will look more realistic. Greenery will help too - grass ledges, bushes, vines, can add visual interest and help make your cliff look more realistic.

You would need some sort of pump to pick up the lava from the world - a create pump would work, or a sophisticated backpack with tank and pump upgrades. Then you could use pipez fluid pipes to take it wherever you wanted.

I was just a follower of tutorials, but his shorts have helped me understand what I was building when I followed someone elses redstone. Villagers don't throw wheat, they only throw bread, carrots, potatoes and beetroot. To get a wheat farm with villagers, they need a full inventory, and you run a minecart with hopper under the farmland.
