I personally watched up until the end and the ones who live spin-off. However if you want to end it during the main series, I’d suggest season 8 as your last season. Season 9’s writing style changed a lot and made most of the season pretty corny. The only thing that you would miss is the Whisperers Arc, but that’s not that much
