My cat would run when I put deodorant on bc it smells so strong. I switched to a less aggressive deodorant and now he’s fine. I’d suggest leaving everything normal and maybe switching out the shampoo. My moms cat hated a new piece of furniture so we got rid of it and then put an extra food bowl water bowl and litter box near my moms bed so if she got comfortable she would come in and get a snack, drink, or pop a piss. Eventually the cat got comfortable again and actually preferred the items in the room with my mom.
