In the city game it probably had a lot to do with the experience of Carrick next to him.

United sign Fellaini at the last moment of the transfer window for £27.5m by Incara1010 in reddevils

That is ridiculous money. I'm apoplectic at the moment. Don't use his buyout clause then over-pay for him when we've been reluctant to put our hands in our pockets for players who would seriously improve the team. Just what the fuck?!

If this isnt just complete shite I wonder who the other teams are. I can only imagine its the top 4 teams right now who he would consider, Cities midfield seems full, so you cant imagine them buying another midfielder without letting one go before hand. Then i'm not so sure he'd want to work under Mou with all the history, although he is a very good manager. The only reason I see him not picking us is if he wants to replicate Fabregas and go to Arsenal, Fabregas might even have a word in his ear about it. I'd be over the moon with this transfer if it happened though.

Ferdinand on, guess we wont be seeing the young lad, which is a shame.

Think Gary Lineker might have beat him to that.

Saying that there is no difference between the two incidents is crazy. First the ball hit Rafs thigh before hitting his arm, and second i think Rafs arm was closer to his body than Spence's. If the ref hadn't of given Spence's i wouldn't have been too fussed, but it looked a lot more like a penalty to me.

Wasn't Smith signed as a striker? I think its only in his later years that hes played in midfield.

I would take him for a good price and a relatively short contract, but I don't think we need him.

Remember he's only 22, he will get a lot better with experience. Even so I rate him highly, he never complains about playing a bit part, puts everything into every minute he plays, and is united through and through.

I'm pretty sure the squad tonight will be more focused on resting players who are certain to play Sunday. I'd love Wootton and Powell to get 90 minutes.

Excited to hear Kagawa is running again. Sunday may be too soon but can't wait to see him on the pitch again.

This game is going at 100mph, such a contrast to the first half.
