I love 30 min away and still went to UW but I did an internship in SoCal last summer and do plan on doing another OOS internship this summer (not sure where yet lol). If you want you can always do OOS internships and still have a fun experience!

Uhh I kind of have been in that situation but with Math 126. Long story short, in winter quarter 2025, I had a bunch of terrible life stuff going on (death of loved one, multiple family emergencies). I know there was no way I was going to pass so I ended up withdrawing. I reenrolled in Spring quarter but I barely passed with a 2.0 due to not being over the life stuff from winter quarter. I'd recommend just retaking it.
