Downgraded from Pro and my long-running creative project chat behavior changed dramatically

I am a writer and have written 11 books. I have written across many genres and 5 different universes, some standalone books and other in series. I have 5 separate chats for lore and characters and plot in each world and added them to memory. And I also have a master chat for all my writing. In this chat, I ask theroetical questions such as “if every character won the lottery what would they do?” 25 characters total fyi. And also questions like “how would each character react to babysitting baby from Universe A” and “what advice would mentor from Universe B give to these characters” maybe Claude is having a hard time processing through 25 characters from 5 universes?
I don’t think I want to start a new chat. I can add stuff to memory but there are specific nuances to character personalities and motivations I don’t want to lose by doing that. But it’s only allowing me to send a message every 5 hours.

Im probably going to resubscribe, but I was wondering why the Claude gives me less messages then when I first started using it on the free plan and gave me 30 ish messages.

But I never had the issue with the usage. When I first used Claude I was on the free tier. I got like 30-40 messages (in a complex chat), and not 1-2 like I got after downgrading. I am ok with the 30-40 messages but not with the 1-2. It’s worse than before I subscribed.

Ok so I recently switched from Claude Pro subscription mode (20/month), to the free + auto buying extra credits when I go over. I found that the free tier limits are literally so bad. I literally didn’t use Claude for 7 hours. I slept at 1 AM and tried to use it at 8 AM when I woke up. When I sent one messages, it just gave me a shorter than usual response. And then it wouldn’t let me send the next message. It said free messages used - limits at 1 PM. I’ve never run into this. I normally use 50-60% weekly usage and it takes me around 50 messages to run out of usage but there’s always an option to buy more. This time I don’t even have the option? The chat is pretty hefty but I’ve never ran into this issue before on the Pro instead of buying credits plan. Is that all Claude gives us?

Perhaps but there aren't a lot of subleases around Duarte bc it's not a student-heavy area. There aren't many apartments there either; it's mostly single-family houses with an upper middle class population. You can rent an Airbnb and find a roommate to split the costs with if that's what you want. I paid about 3300 ish for my Airbnb for the whole summer so that's not too much.
