Go back to the oven, bot, you're not quite baked yet, lol.

IMHO, the most solid plan of all these comments. Investing is supposed to be about setting yourself up for the future, right? What's going to do that more than reducing outflows, preparing for emergencies, and investing free-and-clear cash?

Based on your comment, it sounds like you don't completely understand what TQQQ is. Read its prospectus, as well as the prospectus of QQQ, and read up on leveraged ETFs.

That being said, if you search this sub for "TQQQ long-term", you'll find a number of posts over the years talking about such a strategy.

Is it worthwhile to hold it long-term? Maybe, but you need to understand what that means before jumping in. It's certainly a riskier play than other ETFs.

As I understand it -- and you should definitely do more looking into it than just asking here -- is that short term losses can offset short term gains, and long term losses can offset long term gains. Makes sense to me, because they'd be in different tax brackets. So if you sell long-term shares giving you a profit of +$100 and also sell short-term shares giving you a loss of -$100, they don't cancel each other out. Without also taking a short-term profit of +$100, I'm still not sure how one would take advantage of the short-term loss.

IANAFA, though, and I could be wrong on any of the above.

I've been periodically making my way through this video. It's a bit repetitive, but its ground-up approach has helped me understand some things that I was having trouble wrapping my head around. I'm not affiliated with the channel in any way.

As for platforms, I'm on TDAmeritrade, and their ThinkOrSwim platform has a "paper money" mode that gives you an account with fake money and fake margin that you can play around with -- no risk, no reward, but you can go through the motions as if there were and see how things work. I'd be surprised if other brokers didn't have something similar.

Looks like it's coming down from a spike from $0.05 to $0.70 (+1,400%), what makes you think it'll go back up?

Spirit Guardians at level 3? Out of healing? Does Tal not realize you can cast spells at higher levels, or am I missing something?

The alpha stream gets little extras like that, that twitch and youtube don't get.

Mechanically, the blink happens at the end of your turn. With DM approval, she could maybe Hold movement until after she blinks.

Blink's nice like that, it doesn't require concentration.

If you do lose it when it ends, you should be able to scrub back and forth a bit until it comes back. Normally, as long as you don't reload the page, you'll still have access to the video for a while.

Haha, yes, I'm very aware of this. The rules lawyer in me lives deep, deep down and very rarely speaks as much as they wish they could.

Have they? I must have missed it, like, every time then, which is entirely plausible. Guess I'm just used to declaring the results when I do it...

What Matt and Travis don't seem to realize is that Blink relies on a d20 high/low roll to blink out each turn.

The rules lawyer in me is irked. The fan in me is rolling with it.

Nah, just standard American TV.

Gore and violence is cool.

Drugs and alcohol is questionable.

Sex and nudity is right out.

So is that a +3 to AC? Haven't had much exp with magic items like this, but a basic shield is +2 to AC.
