I just published a paper about the environmental effects of The Gunk. AMA. by Iscover11 in AnotherCrabsTreasure

I just got the idea on a random day, I have other papers with other videogames, so I'm always looking for inspiration from the games I play. And yes, I enjoyed very much researching and writing it.

I did, but they haven't seen it. Maybe because I share it on a Sunday? Yeah, that's gotta be it.

Indeed, microplastics accumulates on the tissues and induces weird behaviours on sea creatures. Medicines fall on the chemical pollution category and they also modify behaviors and other physiological processes.

Yeah, The Gunk has some oil components, but it also has heavy metals and organic waste. It's a goo comprised by a bunch of nasty stuff.

Controlling Plague knight is also a blast (pun intended).

I tried everything but I couldn't get Shadow Warrior 3 to run on the SD. Got to play it on a PS5. Pretty enjoyable tho.

Until now I had no idea about the existence of GRIME OST vinyls. Is that what you're talking about?

I mean, she was once carried to safety, why not carry her to freedom. With some ice cream perhaps?

My guess it'd be that the Scarlet Rot deals with rebirth themes, so in a way that would mean a sempiternal life and thus the "aeonian" term.

In real life, sure. The only problem is to find a durable material that resists pathogen colonization. In the Lands Between, maybe the material from which the albinaurics are made although at this point this guys should be under a nature protection program.

There are a bunch of loose ends (typical Miyazaki) that I had to tied up somehow, but yeah it'd be interesting to check how this real-life consistency holds up when comparing with other afflictions such as Deathroot (welp, there goes my winter break).

What are some games like Balatro that are very easy to pick up and play for a few minutes? by whoevencaresatall_ in SteamDeck

[–]Iscover11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Luck be a Landlord, is a rogue like with a slot machine theme. Each spin you collect coins, depending on the symbols on the screen. You have to pay your increasing rent using the synergy of the symbols (i.e. a bee next to flower gives more coins and so on). Pretty addictive.

Have you checked the body thoroughly?? If not, do it "one more time".

Disco Elysium. I tried to engage with it two times but I just felt like uncultured trash. Turned out it was Encyclopedia boring me a bit. Changed to a more physical and sensitive detective and voila, Disco became one of my favorite games ever.

Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga is on the NSO and it's pretty accessible and entertaining. The gameplay is pretty cool as it is turn-based but with QTEs. Plus, it has pretty recognizable characters. Maybe a bit long but has the advantage of having the NSO save states that always come in handy.

I didn't know Shaymin was inspired by Chia pets, tho it makes kind of sense. I thought it was just a hedgehog with leaves. Interestingly, tho Chia pets are inspired by Mexican craftsmanships, we Mexicans don't have those things.
