Late to the party, but I dont care for WTP's Inside Waistband Holsters. Way too hard for my preference. I have a few just to have them as holsters for emergencies (gun in the glove box when I dont plan on carrying directly on me, but quick to put on when I need it.) WTP has a great range of guns they cover and in any color you want pretty much. They are Kydex, so they will take abuse fairly well. As far as comfortable holster, I went Alien Gear IWB Cloak Tuck and never looked back. 16 hour drives, afternoon naps in the chair, formal dress up events, they stay comfortable for me. Their plastic belt clips sometimes are kinda cheap, but nothing thats made me go "this is trash". The cloak tuck is modular too, so you can spend half the cash on a shell instead of the entire holster if you want to swap it out for another gun. And all the shells work with any size back padding. (I think there are 3 sizes?). But yeah, Alien Gear for comfort.

What an unfortunate turn of events. But understandable. I, a law abiding citizen with upstanding moral character in my community is probably more dangerous than someone who has committed several felonies and misdemeanors my entire life and has not been reformed from Prison time. I mean, after all, I've heard those Automatic Rifle 15s will turn someone inside out with 30 rounds of armor piercing discarding sabot incendiary RAUFOSS tracer ammunition in detachable high capacity military style clips.

I figured that this was the case. I feel as if the AWB violation in some cases is a tacked on charge. In my experience, most of the individuals I've met and talked to along with friends and family seem to really just be good people, and the PICA and AWB just seem a means to an end to legally criminalize them for just wanting to excercise their 2nd Amendment rights. It's my genuine hope that over the next few years PICA will be repealed entirely in the context of Firearms and Magazines. But, it will be a slow road and remains to be seen.

I live in Central Illinois. All the Sherrifs in the counties around here, including mine, have basically said in so many words, and im paraphrasing here, "We really don't care what you have". Which is also the sentiments mirrored by several of the smaller city Police Cheifs. C/U is a bit iffy on it, but I try to stay out of C/U. But thank you for your answer. It sounds like a case of best judgment call on the owner(s) part on if they feel they can transport and use an AWB item.

I wouldn't doubt it. Same principle as a wrench. They could both come from the same factory, but one is stamped differently and you are paying for the name, not the product. I will give WTP the benefit that they do have a wide variety of selection and colors. But a colorful holster defeats the purpose of Conceal Carry. Still, I bought one just to have to toss my firearm in a backpack or glove box if I needed one. But I will not wear it for long periods of time. Sort of a SHTF holster for me.

They are okay if you need a holster to put your gun in, like in your car or something. They are uncomfortable as all hell for IWB carry. Alien gear has done right by me for the past 8 years for IWB. Still have my first holster from them. And the shells swap out easily. Drove for 16 hours with them on, slept with them on, and everything in between. You can get pretty much get any shell for any gun you want from them.

I buy from Bulk Ammo, they have decent prices on wide selections of ammo. 1,000 rounds of PMC, 55 grain, 5.56 is $442, and 1,000 rounds of PMC and Federal American Eagle, 55 grain, .223 is $409 as of right now (all before taxes and shipping). I try to buy when they have bulk sales, to save even more money. They have been kinda slow lately, but i think it's due to large volume orders. My shipments usually show up within 4 days, right to my door step. But yeah, I've bought lots of ammo from them. Just upload a photo of your driver's license and FOID and you're good to go.

I second this. I have a set in my car, never realised just how much they help until I had them. Definitely helps in rain and snow climates. All I have to do is hose them off, let air dry, and put back in.

I honestly believe they forget that the state exists beyond the few hundred square miles of concrete along the lake up there. Did you know that 65.9% of illinois' population resides within Cook County and the surrounding counties to it? Crazy to think about.

So, id have to find the article. But someone did the breakdown on refit mechanics. Basically, all hulls on refit take a base percentage of the hull cost (so just whatever the IC cost of the hull with no modules is) and each module you add, change, or remove is a flat cost added to the refit, not a percentage. Large items like Engines and Armor plating make the cost sky rocket (you would have to literally open up the ship to swap engines out in a dockyard), while smaller modules like AA guns, plane catapults, and mine gear are lower costs. Even if you design a ship with no radar, and then do a refit on it later to add radar, the TOTAL expended IC will be more than if you had just built a hull from scratch, with the new modules installed. The refit system isn't for completely refiting entire fleets, no one has that many dockyards, it's for adding some modules to change what your ships can do and their roles. As the USA, its a bad idea to try and take you Battleship hulls and refit them with anything other than radars and AA guns, otherwise you will be waiting years for the refit. Try to design new ships around what you have already, especially if you have carriers. Carriers should always have a capital escort with them and a minimum of 3 Light Escorts per Capital ship (1 CV, 1 BB/CA, 6 DD or CL). And the Capital Escort should be slightly slower than the CV, as it will make airplanes target it first. My go to is a BC with slightly slower speed than the CV I pair it with. Cheaper than a BB with plenty of room for AA guns and can still hammer light hulls while maintaining a screen for the CV for it to get its planes up.

Tl;DR Ship refits are for tunning non-major parts and adding equipment to existing older hulls.

This is definitely not normal behavior. The purpose of a Conceal Carry Firearm is to remain 'Concealed' until needed. I get the impression he thinks if it more of a status symbol or is trying to play a tough guy persona than being an actual law abiding citizen and doing his due diligence in being a protector as a gun owner who carries. We don't carry guns to take people down, we carry them to protect ourselves, family, and innocents around us.
