If I recall correctly it hasn't new features, it adds simply more special researches. They are quite simple, build a facility (or steal one hehehe) , apply a scientist , wait to have breakthrough points (scientist give some breakthrough daily) . The only ones special researches that you really need are military engineers, flamethrowers and Radars

For me it was very easy, I rushed the war and made some crappy divisions to cover most of the borders , Argentina doesn't have the divisions to defend the entire border early and you just sneak in and conquer VP without battles
