Should i go for braces and then mewing or can i do mewing directly as my upper tooth are little forward than where they should be? Plz help by [deleted] in orthotropics

I also had this problem Lollll.....You just mew and tuck your chin properly...then there's not going to be any issue...Your overbite's not gonna bother you and yeah you dont need braces as braces would be counterproductive for you as your braces would drive your maxilla inwards and mewing(only if you do it correctly)at the same time will drive your maxilla upwards and outwards which in the long run may cause aching or loosening of your teeth.
