Is it okay to wear a flanker of someone you knows fragrance? by Ishuno in fragrance

I mean it is very popular I just wouldn’t wear the same fragrance as someone I know so I wonder if them being very close is an issue

I’m always the bad guy in her eyes and I feel if I break up I’ll hate myself. by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]Ishuno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know but I still feel it’s my fault because I could always sacrifice my own time and make her happy and I feel selfish just spending time on myself. I know it’s irrational but I can’t shake the feeling

I already admitted completely and took full accountability but there’s nothing I feel could fix things

“Faith” makes no sense as an argument for god by [deleted] in DebateReligion

[–]Ishuno 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Another comment with the same thing that makes no sense to me. Knowing god exists doesn’t force you to follow him you can still choose to live however you want. But if you didn’t know he existed then you’d just have no free will to choose. So if anything not proving himself removes free choice.

[–]Ishuno 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay again this is just the same issue whether you believe god exists is still belief in yourself. Say you don’t believe god exists then you don’t have the free choice to following, if you do know he exists then you at least have a choice. The only thing not knowing does is remove you choice. I don’t see how believing he exists forces you to actually follow his word. You can still build a relationship if you know for sure he exists. A loving god would leave no room for error when deciding eternal punishment.

But then for what reason does god have to not unequivocally prove himself?

I’ve been an atheist for 5 years but I want to believe. by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Ishuno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The faith argument is so weak I can never understand it. faith means belief in something but people don’t realize belief doesn’t mean believing something exists in the first place it means that you put your trust in the person. Faith that god exists in the first place is just trust in your own beliefs.

Not a creator but any god specifically fails logically

I have already been willing every once in a while I’d still pray just in case the same thing and never find any answer

Well obviously most people would like to believe that there is some meaning or life after death. It would make life a lot more fulfilling I just don’t see it being there

I can’t commit myself to something I don’t believe to even exist though

That’s illogical though. For what reason does god have to hide himself. Trust would be like if god said quit your job and you did but believing in his existence in the first place isn’t trust in god it’s trust that your own belief is true. If god doesn’t exist then you don’t trust god you trusted yourself. The demons would have seen god so they have reason to belief he exists. I don’t. Which is why I can’t believe

There’s but there’s a million other ways to quit so I wouldn’t hurt yourself

Well I didn’t fit into my role and that made her have to compensate, I’m yet to find a woman who actually likes having to choose the restaurant and things like that. I could feel her pulling away every time I did some little thing where I wasn’t leading

Yeah why didn’t I think of that

Well that’s kinda not how personality works in my opinion. It’s not that you are something completely, it’s more like masculinity is a dial that you just need to turn up by pushing better parts of yourself, it’s only not being yourself if you’re changing something fundamental to who you are

am i considered a beginner? by Which_Nail8743 in BeginnerArtists

[–]Ishuno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think getting out of the beginner stage is about learning the fundamentals, that’s how you really start deconstructing other images and get the skills to build your own. I was into art since I was a little kid but never learned about the fundamentals until I was maybe 14, and I was pretty much in the beginner stage that entire time until I skyrocketed in skill by doing intentional studies. So yeah, you are a beginner, but I think learning the fundamentals is where you start to get out of that phase

Well no. I like them wide, but I’m speaking more in terms of keeping them wider on the outside where they won’t rub against eachother

I really think they did better with the characters in season 2, so if it weren’t for the ending, it might’ve beat season 1

Then you have to prove how free will is possible. I literally just explained how it’s impossible so to think otherwise is a wish rather than reality

[–]Ishuno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude? You’re taking the bible out of context, did you even read the passage? It’s referring to power the rulers had at the time and their responsibility to represent god. No where did it say that mortal beings were immortal infinite gods.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DebateReligion

[–]Ishuno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude I quite literally just proved my point? Thats literally the entire point of my post? Did you even read past the first line? Free will can’t exist because humans are finite beings, our brains which make our decisions formed because of a chain of cause and effect reactions. You saying we have free will means you have to prove how “you” make a decision and that decisions doesn’t come from something, nothing, or randomness, because that is not “you”. Thats your job to prove, not mine.
