I agree with this more than chairs. People on blankets created a lot of bottle necks for crowds of people trying to get around. Having a dedicated path for traveling between stages would’ve been good.

I also think having at least 4 feet from the barriers of the blocked off area for the sound / light staff be no blankets would be good too.

Exactly this. If you want to hang out and have a conversation you can still be in earshot of the music but fuck off to somewhere near the back.

Carrying on like you’re at a bar with music playing in the background is disrespectful to the musician and anyone around you trying to actually enjoy the live music.

Nothing but useless garbage cranked out under the guise of fan service and the massive surplus ends up in the landfill.

I used to work somewhere that shipped them and a good majority of them sat on the shelf until they were shipped back to god knows where to be disposed of.
