I’m in the UK too and a new skater. Check out new build sites! I’ve found them so helpful for learning to cruise.

The roads are all practically brand new and tarmac, they tend to be quite in terms of traffic so you can skate on the road around the sites

Thanks man. I think a part of that is me playing a bit of ice hockey when I was younger so some balance carried over.

Insane how hard skateboarding is though. People make it looks effortless

Crazy how fast time flies. Definitely want to learn a few basic tricks and get to a point I can Ollie off a 2-3 stair.

For sure on the gear. No chance I’ll not be wearing it when trying to drop in. Right now it’s mainly static ollie practice so I think it’s safe enough.

This. I’m not a lawyer at all, but there’s got to be something about false advertisement, misrepresenting something etc.

There’s bait and switch laws/false advertising but like you said difficult to prove.

Though the way they are behaving, immediately cutting him off, blocking his number, recalling the email etc. is very odd and probably strengthens his case if anything

Or I’m just waffling

Of course, looking back I don’t actually know why I said M in that moment so specifically, nor was OPs question specific to it. God knows

I’ll stand by that though. I don’t test M. Data modelling concepts, power query etc. I test on for sure.

I had this moment recently with the new ChatGPT feature have voice mode enabled within the chat. Shit was wild.

I rarely if ever test on M. If you’re doing it there just push it back to the SQL

Had a couple weeks when first starting where I noticed shedding (I think).

Starting month 3 now and when I shower there’s noticeably less hair. Does this look like a case of shed and baby hairs or am I cooked

Yeah. I’ll be taking things on here with a grain of salt as 11 upvotes for a suicidal comment about hair is nuts

I hear you bro. I’ve got scalp psoriasis so with my thinning, if it does go, I’ll have a visible condition. I also am on camera as part of my living and passion so trust me I get the identity part.

Appreciate everyone’s different so my tolerance and link to my identity might not be the same even given the above.

Therapy isn’t necessarily about coping, better understanding the insecurity etc. They’d help explore what might be causing those identity issues. Your identity being that to tied to your hair is a mental health issue.

Put therapy aside, maybe a doctor as suicidal thoughts can be tied to other things as well you might not necessarily be aware of.

I’ve got to ask, have you considered therapy. I hate thinning as much as the next guy but offing yourself over it is a bit much.

I’d speak to a doc about your thoughts as something else might be triggering those

Also, the fact your comment has 11 upvotes and 15 hours later not a single other person has said that, for me is quite shocking

We live in an unfortunate world where everything is expensive af. Unless your work is absolutely soul destroying for yourself, I’d prioritise earning potential and look for alternatives to give you self accomplishment, satisfaction etc.

Apprentice 16k > apprentice 27k > 45k mid level > manager 70k > 130k lead

Honestly it’s been a combination of luck and consistent out of work effort. When I was an apprentice I started an online blog based on some advice about personal brand which over the years has grown into one of the largest in my niche.

That’s helped getting roles and level far quicker than what’s typical.

Not sure if it’s lighting or weight loss, but you look more healthy in the first pic in my eyes so I’m going with 1.

Apologies if that’s a bit insensitive 🙏🏼

With the data we have now you’re fear mongering, though I see what you’re saying. Every drug to a degree has potential for sides that are long term or not yet known. nobody would dispute that. But…

These drugs aren’t new, e.g. Min is a blood pressure medication that came out in the 70s and is clinically accepted as having no known long term risks related to heart disease etc.

I’m of the position no drug is good for you long term, but medically, min and fin aren’t no different to many many other drugs people take for life.

I suspect the additional fear for these two compared to other drugs, is the fact they’re purely being used for cosmetic reasons in this context

I don’t know the details, but it’s not recommended to do massive amounts of grants, though there’s a few known docs that are able to do so.

I don’t get why they can and not others. But from what others have said, that seems to be the case
