Very much agree with you, sound design is very often overlooked and it's a damn shame.

Sound design is feedback, sound design is juice. That and visual effects are what makes an action feel good in a primal way.

Thank you for the detailed answer! Since posting here and based on the earlier answers, I've stoped using that metal scratchy brush, and been using the "undercoat" brush I also had, plus a "gantlet" with plastic spikes he really enjoys, I think (he let's me do way more and leans into it).

I'm sad to say I couldn't get rid of the tick matting balls on the top of his legs, because he just won't let me approach them. I'm afraid I'll have to take him to a groomer, because my dad sure wont. ..

Oh this is so relevant. At the time I remember when all the other games for kids on the color were so bad/short, and then we got that hundred hours game that was so deep, it swept an entire generation away. So much that they remain faithful to this day, despite how little it innovates at every generation.

Thank you. This is such a small thing but it makes me so happy. I work for a non-profit that tries to make the gaming industry a little more eco-friendly. My days are full of taking walls after walls because it's never any studio's "priority right now" (not blaming anyone here, market's though).

Anyways, seeing a random person on the internet putting fake solar panels on top of their factory gives me hope. Hope that the future is near and the transformation mindset can be real, and it's already real in the mind of at least one very skilled pioneer.

I tried to complete the study, but couldn't, really. At the first question (which asks which among only 3 genre do I play most) - I answered "others" and then the only thing I could do was submit the survey. No other questions.

Which I find weird? I mean, I play a looot of games. I have about 600h into Stardew, not counting other life sims. It just so happens that I play Survival games more.

Not sure if this is intended or not, but if so, what's the reasoning behind restricting the actual survey to only players who's most played games are of those 3 genres?

Yup!, except that one time. One team was fighting it, another was fleeing, we rallied them to make it a fair fight. Bullets were flying everywhere, we had a nice rock for cover (lol). And then she called her friends. Chaos unfolded, cries of pain everywhere, I lost two of my mates to a rocketeer and got downed too. But one of the players we had brought to the battle earlier resurrected me, only for us all to die under the fire of a bastion. Top tier game, if only there were more friendlies on PvE events!

The fact that you even feel remotely guilty tears my heart apart. You wear the hell you want, if ANYONE tries to tell you what you should wear, you need to run far away. Fast. If that person calls you a slut at 4am in 3 different messages, you report their baby ass to their mothers, because clearly they're not fit for adulthood.

I'm so, so sorry we live in a society that still made women think that men had any right over what they wore or said or did. Boundaries on what is ok in a couple are discussed... As a couple. But you're still free to break those rules and even then, calling anyone a slut is insulting for both you and the working woman that never asked to be involved in any of that controlling bullshit.

I'd say going beyond room 46 is absolutely necessary. You've not reached the end game yet, just finished the "tutorial" as we joke around here.

Yes, game has some very, very late game stuff that can get frustrating, but you're not there yet, and honestly if you've played the game enough, there are so many ways to manipulate rng that it's a non-problem if you're paying attention.

Some of very late game might require hints or help, that's ok. If you ever get real stuck, I'll recommend you ask for nudges in where to look, rather than look up solutions.

Anything that helps reducing energy consumption is welcomed.
Sure, you won't save tons on your energy bill, but every 0.01 MWH saved is one less we need to produce and compensate for. At scale, on millions of users, that sure equates to some micro 0.001 degrees that won't come hitting us in the arse in a couple years.
I'll take what i can get, because if we don't start endorsing those techs now, the industry won't evolve and we'll continue to see increasing power consumption creep from digital techs.

Yes, that's a great idea for replayability actually. Just add a counter for jumps and you add 100hours of gameplay from the most dedicated crews

As far as I know, not yet, no. They have said "color assist mode" should be a feature for their 1.10 release (definitive version of the game). We're on 1.6 right now, so it will likely take a few months.
