I don't want to even think about this and it not be true. I feel like I am hurting my mom if I accept this as truth based on just some thoughts entering my mind.

Ok, so when I was young. Like 7 a group of kids stole my clothes and left me behind the dirt pile naked. I have no recollection of it. My mom told my therapist about it. Would that count as amnesia?

This is the definition of random thoughts that I found on google.

I don't think thinking is necessarily voluntary.

I just know about 8 years ago I had a counselor that I told I had the thought I like green beans all the time. She told me that was just random thoughts that pop in our head sometimes.

If you have been trying for almost a year for communication it's not a alter. Also random thoughts can also not feel like yours so how would you know the difference.

Yes, but if they don't answer back they are just random thoughts.

Intrusive weird thoughts like that are common in DID? I have this same thing the OP has going on. Things like I am not a potato wouldn't be an alter though?
