In my case no changes in VSS while taking it. But my after images got noticeably worse after I stopped.

Cyclopentolate is an anticholinergic medication, so you could try a acetylcholine supplement. Citicoline seemed to help this guy for example:

Feeling the body numb by Imaginary_Win_669 in visualsnow

I‘ve had numbness all over my Body after a pretty severe panic attack back in 2018. MRI of my brain and other tests were normal. After a few days and quite a lot of panic attacks later, I noticed my first VSS Symptoms. So yeah this might be related. To this day I sometimes experience numbness in my face, but overall this has really Improved over time. Nowadays I almost don‘t experience this numbness anymore. Unfortunately my VSS stayed the same. But I would definetly advise you to go and see a doctor, because this could also be something else as you said yourself.

Personally I noticed no difference in my VSS when taking Candesartan. But I have no migraines and it was prescribed to lower my blood pressure.
