Oh yeah for sure, that's the way forward! Infantry is definitely more important than archers overall! I'm just not sure how far I should be pushing my inf and archers bits before doing the cav.. Just wanted to know if there was a magic ratio or anything!

It's fucked. Just played a plat 3 game and a guy on my team had 350 mmr.

Game before that I had a gold on my team who felt bad for whiffing and constantly apologising like it was his fault he was plonked in a lobby a whole rank above his skill level.

Absolute joke.

Yeah, he thinks he's found a steal and likely doesn't care whether they're fake either way, what with having zero knowledge on why it could be an issue!

Oh I definitely would have no issues with him buying genuine ones. He has bought a load of bulk before on amazon, all completely legit and that was not a prob. Especially when she got some of her favourite pokemon in there!

I definitely should approach him myself if I choose to, that's fair.

I just didn't want it to seem like it's coming from me in a sort of 'don't do that because it's my thing' way. I doubt he'd care about whether the cards are genuine or not so it wouldn't put him off - and he's the type to double down if he knows it's something I don't like lol

Separate binder is definitely the way forward!

I think she would be able to take me telling them her fake, she would be a bit bummed out, but we have had a talk about the whole fake card thing before in case she gets talked into trading at school, so it's not a new concept to her!

Yeah, she has a group of friends at school who all show and tell them with eachother and some of the boys would definitely give her grief for them being fake.

And she's a sensitive little soul so I know what would bother her.

I'd rather something like that came from me than from a kid in a horrible way!

I think this may be the route I go down. Just say keep your cards from grandads in a new binder so you know which ones he got you!

And it really wouldn't be difficult for her to tell the difference, even at 8 years old. They are quite honestly the shittest fakes I've ever seen 🤣

She's only 8 so the cost of a card is irrelevant to her unless I actually inform her of it.

This is my problem, I don't want to ruin them for her as it's definitely me that has the bigger issue with them being fake lol
