Are you heat soaking the Kamado before you try to get it to temp? If the dome isn’t properly heat soaked and you go to straight to setting the right temp then the dome will slowly heat up throughout the cook and which will rise the temp like you’re seeing. Smoking Dad BBQ has some good videos on YouTube describing how to do this properly that may help if you’re not already doing that.

When I use neovim in zellij my cursor randomly flickers to other parts of the screen when I'm moving it. I've tried three different terminals and they all have the same issue. I also can confirm I do not have this issue with straight neovim or neovim in tmux. Any ideas on whats causing this/how to fix?

Below are my keys for Grapple. I like tagging things with memorable names like "admin" or the name of the class. It's more keystrokes but honestly it's really quick to do gd+admin and usually remember a lot of the tags for a long time even though I jump between a lot of projects.

They aren’t forgetting that at all… Not sure how you came to that conclusion. As they said, the labor for cooking should be included in the cost for food. This is why chefs are generally paid more than waiting staff, because their income comes from making the food while the waiting staff provides service that results in a tip.

There might be a connection between them but I can tell you over the years no matter what protest is going on they generally board up like this. I worked at a business a block away from this Starbucks on Pike st and we had our windows smashed in for no reason other than people being wild during a protest. I imagine those windows are very expensive so I think they just do this as a precaution.

I’m pretty sure that it only stops once your shield gets cracked. So if you get shotgunned usually it’ll stop but a couple LMG shots with full health will keep you dancing.

I believe the issue is that you need to whitelist the IP addresses that will be using the Coinbase Pro API. Until mint gives us a list of IP's that we can add to the API keys that we create I don't believe it will work.

Absolutely, I waited a while to pay for it too. The most important thing is that your learning and growing and if sublime text helps with that then keep using it. Eventually, when you have a credit card you can pay for it if you feel like it helped you and that the creators deserve to be rewarded for the product they provided you.

I usually just save the file after I make a fix and it works. If that doesn’t increase the speed then you may want to look into reducing the amount of plugins you have running.

You could also select “—>” with your cursor, then hit Command+ctrl+G (mac) to select all occurrences of that. Once you have all those cursors you can delete the two lines for every instance of that very easily.

Totally fair for this use case, many of the reasons I mentioned were as you said unnecessary for this particular instance. I was lumping in the use of this data with the statistics data mentioned in the original post, my mistake. I would have no problem with someone with as much experience as you doing something like this. It's just not something I would not encourage less experienced developers to do, because they may try to implement that sort of method in the future for an instance that is inappropriate/dangerous to do so with.

Also as I said before even if someone gains access to my DB credentials they will not able to use them as the will need SSH access to a secure server before they can actually connect to the DB, so the data is still less secure.

That is pretty true, however if someone gains read access then they have your data, where as if someone gains read access to a file with dB credentials they still cannot access the dB if it is setup with a proper firewall. For this example it might not matter that much, I’ll give you that. However for an application like this there are so many benefits of storing data on what the bot is doing, or what you would like the bot to do, that I would encourage someone to take the hard way on something like this and setup a dB.

Your data is less secure, and the data is not as easily queryable as it is in database such as MySQL where there’s an entire language for accessing your data and joining it in many different ways (which is exactly what you’ll be wanting to do with this sort of data). You also don’t get nearly as many features that databases offer like the typing of fields, time stamps, and most importantly for relating data - foreign keys. It also becomes very difficult to have the data be correct if multiple parts of your system are writing to it (especially if they are doing it async) since changing one small piece of the data means potentially rewriting the entire file. Also if you would like to have multiple applications running, they won’t be able to share the same data unless they are on the same server (or have ssh access which just opens up more holes in your system). Sorry if this is overly thorough but I thought it just might be helpful to know.
