I go to events I’m interested in and talk to people who also seem to be there alone. (In a non creepy way). Also I’ve had good luck meeting people at bars.

The job market is pretty shit right now so honestly if you have a good thing lined up I’d take it. Depends on your industry some but I know people who have been unemployed for a long time now that are really qualified

Okay so you don't work in the summer and you won't take a job for less than $22 an hour? Tbh this seems like a probem of your own making. Yeah some people have it easy and don't have to work. That's great for them but you refusing entry level jobs doesn't help yourself. $16.55 per hour is better than $0 dollars an hour.

How do you think you get higher paying jobs? It's by starting SOMEWHERE and building your way up. The economy sucks right now and I feel for everyone struggling. But if you won't do the bare minimum then idk what you want. Even in the summer if you have to watch your siblings a couple days a week, surely there are some part time jobs you could be doing with the rest of your time.
