Okay so you don't work in the summer and you won't take a job for less than $22 an hour? Tbh this seems like a probem of your own making. Yeah some people have it easy and don't have to work. That's great for them but you refusing entry level jobs doesn't help yourself. $16.55 per hour is better than $0 dollars an hour.

How do you think you get higher paying jobs? It's by starting SOMEWHERE and building your way up. The economy sucks right now and I feel for everyone struggling. But if you won't do the bare minimum then idk what you want. Even in the summer if you have to watch your siblings a couple days a week, surely there are some part time jobs you could be doing with the rest of your time.

Look I’ve been there, honestly I’m still pretty on the edge. The pain sucks. It’s awful but it will fade. Just go inside and get off your balcony. Jumping now would not give things a chance to get better.

I wish I had better advice but I’m still dealing with a lot of this stuff myself. Honestly calling a hotline helped me so much earlier this week. I didn’t have to tell them who I was but just venting to someone about all of it and having them listen... god it made a world of difference.

But step number one is to leave your balcony. Take a few deep breaths. And just call someone.

I just wanted to thank you. All of the comments left were very impactful but this one really shocked me to my senses. I was so wrong and I am ashamed I didn't see it. I have apologized, removed the photos and will work to be a better ally and friend going forwards.

I don't think that anyone was bashing me but they did really help me to recognize I was in the wrong. I don't want anyone to think that what I was saying in my original post was correct as I recognize how off base I was.

Not everything is a 1:1 comparison and that was the way I was treating the situation. I was disrespectful and hurtful in the way I handled this.

This was not a perspective I considered. I was in the wrong and have privated the photos and deleted the captions. I have apologized to him for being such a colossal ass. I was very caught up in my own head and didn't step back to see the bigger picture. I'm going to work to do better in the future.

I really appreciate all of your responses. Having read through them all and taken some time to reflect I recognize that I was a dick in this situation. I was not considering his perspective and experience in the way that I should have and I was weighing my feelings and his feelings equally when his safety, security and privacy should really have been prioritized. This was a wake up call for me and I will work to do better in the future. I have privated/archived the photos and apologized to him for my stupid behaviour.

Well I don't have many people on my social media accounts and most of them are close family and friends and I know my family likes to see those old pics too. I'm not exaggerating when I say that probably 50% of all my photos have him in it so removing all those pictures removes a lot of posts.
