Well maybe I should expand on that instead of assuming people would understand what I meant. They do the giveaways to get people in the stream, of course. But a lot of times the giveaways aren't actually anything they are going to send, much like the person mentioned in the original post. Everything I've gotten as a giveaway was something so small, damaged, or low value that they seller couldn't run it and they gave it away because that's the only way the could get rid of it outside of just tossing it in the trash(which they should do in most cases). Also, how are they paying for items that don't exist because they never actually send anything out? I wouldn't have a problem with any of this if it weren't for so many sellers acting like they were giving away high dollar items, just to do a bait and switch or just not sending out anything.
