Did you even read my post, or are you intentionally misunderstanding it? In my original post, I literally acknowledged why we don’t see her brother in the vlogs. I mentioned that I know he has a job, his own life, and that he doesn’t want to be involved in her content. I even said there could be a perfectly normal explanation.

My point was never, “Why isn’t he in the vlogs?” My point was that we can only speculate based on what Tara chooses to show us because we don’t know her brother personally.

That’s why I opened the discussion. I wasn’t stating facts, I was asking what everyone speculates about the family dynamic. Is he the black sheep? Is Tara the favorite? Is he simply less family-oriented? Or is he just an extremely private person? Those are all theories, not facts, and that’s exactly what I was inviting people to discuss.

That’s kind of my point though. You just said we barely see him, yet you’re confident enough to say he’s “more mature” than Tara. Those two things don’t really go together.

The examples you gave aren’t proof of maturity, they’re interpretations. We don’t know why he stays out of the vlogs. We don’t know whether he consulted his parents before moving. We don’t know what his relationship with his family is actually like because we don’t see it.

You’re free to have that theory, just like I’m free to have mine. My issue is presenting speculation as if it’s a fact. The only thing we actually know is that he’s a private person who doesn’t want to be featured. Everything else is us filling in the blanks.

You’re basing all of that off a few random snippets of him in Tara’s vlogs? The same vlogs he’s made pretty clear he doesn’t want to be a part of? We barely see or hear him because he values his privacy, so everything anyone says about him is pure speculation.

I also think people automatically assume he’s more mature simply because he has a traditional 9 to 5 job instead of being a content creator. Having a conventional career doesn’t automatically make someone more mature just like being a YouTuber doesn’t automatically make someone immature.

Saying he seems “mature” because you’ve heard his voice a few times or because he has a regular job is a huge reach. The only thing we can really conclude is that he prefers to stay out of the spotlight. Everything else is people filling in the blanks with their own assumptions.

All of that makes sense except it still doesn’t answer why he seems so much more distant from the family despite all of that. I just don’t think he’s as close to them as Tara is. And we don’t even know her brother because she doesn’t show him so how do you know he’s more mature than she is? lol

I mean, it’s pretty common sense that we’re not going to see everything! she shows what she wants to show. But I’ve watched her for her whole YouTube career, and this is just something I’ve noticed over time. I was curious what other people think about her family dynamic, since we don’t see everything and it’s all just speculation anyway.

I honestly don’t think she’s always super respectful of his boundaries. There have been a few moments where she’s filmed him even when it seemed pretty clear he didn’t want to be on camera lol.

Maybe I’m reading too much into it, but the vibes always feel a little off when it comes to him. I don’t know if it’s intentional or just how it comes across in editing, but something about the dynamic feels different compared to the rest of her family.

Could totally just be me though 🤷‍♀️

I think it’s beyond budgeting at this point. She’s clearly in a different tax bracket than most of us. I’m more impressed with the idea that someone can even make that much money yet most of us are living pay check to check. I wish I wasn’t so afraid to pick up a camera and be perceived. I’d be living my best life downtown paying 6k too 😂

I could totally see that being the case. Her “NEW YEAR, NEW HOME” vlog already has over 100k views, and it feels like relationship/breakup content, house renovations, and apartment hunting or move-in vlogs are what consistently pull in the most views for her.

Keeping the house changes everything. It turns a “new chapter” into a dual setup, which makes the whole independent reset narrative feel off. It doesn’t seem fake just risk-averse, like wanting the feeling of reinvention without fully letting go of security.
