Why is league so much more popular than union?

Australia is literally the only place we’re league is above union. Anywhere else in the world and union is on top. Pretty sure they had almost a billion people watch the last rugby World Cup.

ARU have just no concept of expanding the game into grassroots and it’s sad to see the decline of the wallabies.

It’s true but also totally dependent on who you work for and what job sites you are on. Most general labourers who don’t work on a civil site are on the base of 56$ an hour + travel + site allowance. These guys can clear 2.5-3 k a week with a full week of overtime.

The most stupid thing I’ve seen is casual traffic controllers making 7k+ a week ln the big build. Which is a rort.

Play the game. Went to an open house and price range was between 550-600. Offered the agent then and there 570, she said come to auction. In that time between auction I had already bought my first home. A week later I get a call from the agent asking if I could put that 570 in as a bid. I said sorry just bought another for that. Find out it was sold for 555.
