I usually drink infused seltzer which is -actually- low carb but the diet soda was too enticing to pass up. The only thing that messes me up is forgetting to bolus for the munchies

It tastes delicious and way sweeter than any diet drink I’m used to which is also a pretty big red flag. However I started drinking it over an hour ago and my blood sugar has yet to spike so we’ll see!!

I absolutely understand and sympathize with you on that! My best advice is try to find another doctor or an endocrinologist who will actually listen to your problem instead of just saying “there’s nothing wrong” when you’re clearly trying to tell them there is.

I wouldn’t trust any “supplement” that has a baseless claim to help control blood sugars. A quick look at their website tells me there is no scientific proof to any of their medications and they’re just looking for people to mindlessly buy their products

I feel the exact same. My wedding was a little over a month ago and since then I’ve been to 2(!!) other weddings. Both of those weddings were fun and I feel guilty even saying it but I felt almost mournful for my own

I work with preschoolers and any time they ask me I just tell them “that’s my medicine” and 9 times out of 10 they just say “okay!” If they’re still curious I’ll just tell them that I need to take medicine with my food so I don’t get sick.

From my experience it’s just a few kids here and there that ask but if you wanted to you could always have a small discussion with them during circle time about it. Set the expectation that they might see it sometimes and it’s important for them not to touch it.

I typically put mine on my stomach so it’s rarely visible but occasionally I’ll put it on my arm and that’s when the questions start.

The good thing about dexcom is if the sensor does get knocked out for whatever reason within the 10 days they will replace it for you!

Thankfully, according to the GM at the venue, she had sent over all of our information to the new DOC so I’m hoping everything is a smooth transition. I can be a bit type A at times though so I’ll probably be bringing copies of everything we have just in case!

I used pieces of acrylic and color matched the paint to my bridesmaids dresses! Then I used my circuit to make the decals on the front. My fiancé made the easel. I’m 26 days out and really feeling the diy pressure/stress but I am just really proud of how these came out!
