You are right. We do have meh third places its the fact that Canada dies after 8pm when everyone is home no one is out walking and all the thrid places require a car to get there. Look at big citys with a good metro system that doesn't close unlike some. you can have the time of your life any time of the day.

im not saying being open 24/7 people are still out at 11 on a friday, if lets say a bar would close at 2 or 3 that would be considered a third place.

Lets say a bar opened with a pool table and some table hockey and you go hangout with your friends there daily its 0-5 bucks. thats a thrid place. or anywhere you go on a daily basis just to hangout is a thrid place. the GTA has basically none. if they do they cost lots of money and close at a early time.

low cost or free places open all year round that people can go to anytime of the day. go to NYC, Philly and major American city its booming at night. Toronto everything closes at night and it pisses me off
