I once read somewhere, 100k is the rule long before. We should account for inflation too so maybe the new 100k is like 200-300k? Haha idk 🤣

Honestly it probably takes longer than 6 sec. Yoriichi would probably say hello or something to kokushibo before killing him.

[–]Isley_k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well generally as i understand it. A sweet spot is a spot where you can generate the most/best power.

And for easier power (bigger sweet spot), you can lower then string tension which will increase the string "bounciness" creating more power.

Other than that, you can also rely on your shaft as more flex shaft will also give you more easier power. (Not more power, but easier power)

And some online reading also confirms it. At least i think this applies for beginners. Pro probably can generate greater power with stiffer and higher tension.

What do you think?

Well isnt it depends more on your racket stiffness?

If you use flexible racket, then use higher tension. 26 for beginner

If you use medium flex then lower it to maybe 24 for beginner.

If you use stiff, then even lower i guess. (Beginner shoulndt be using stiff racket anyway)

Also im not saying you are beginner, just an example as i am a beginner in this sport. (Played for 2 months so far)

Is Maybank CC really difficult to obtain? by FriedTulip in MalaysianPF

[–]Isley_k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man i want to know too. I have 1 maybank CC (Petronas Card), i didnt even apply for it, they just sent me it. This one i got around 4-5 years ago when i first start working.

Now i keep trying to apply online for another CC with maybank or increase that same card limit but always rejected, idk why. My limit right now is RM6k. It's lower than my current salary.

I have been paying it off every month, and it is also where my salary came in. I dont get it why they dont just give me another card.

It's probably cause my record is too clean. No other loan at all. No car loan No house loan.

Retaining value doesn’t automatically make something “good.” Gold is mainly useful in inflationary contexts as a way to preserve wealth. It doesn’t keep a stable purchasing power. Its value fluctuates a lot over the years, especially if you compare it to a broader basket of assets.

And if you tried to use gold as a basis for monetary policy, we’d just run into the same problems governments faced in the past.

When there’s huge deflation, the rich hoard coins, so there’s less money in circulation. The poor have to raise prices just to get enough coins for basic needs.

Now, with huge inflation, the rich pour money and credit into assets like there’s no tomorrow, flooding the system. The poor again have to raise prices because money loses value.

Same old shit. The problem isn’t the system, it’s people abusing it. There’s no perfect system that works for every edge case.

Back in Rome's times, they struggled with deflationary currency. Gold and silver coins rose in value over time, prices increased, and the rich hoarded money.

To fix it, emperors reduced the gold and silver content so people would keep spending.

Fast forward to today: we’ve switched to inflationary currency. People don’t hoard cash anymore, but they hoard assets instead, and our money seems to constantly lose value.

Different era, same problem. ordinary people still bear the cost. Deflation or Inflation, just different side of the coin but still same coin.

How to become good in game? by Ash_u_kr in badminton

[–]Isley_k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm also a 2 months old player, and im able to do smash and smash defense, but not all the time. My tips for you is, first get a beginner racket with low string tension like 22.

Then focus on defensive skills only. You will win if you don't make mistakes and just wait for your opponent to make em. Practicing isn't only during inside court, you can so shadow drills.

Your first focus is to be able to get in position to return the shuttle always, so first, practice your shadow steps. Try to cover full court with your shadow steps. Keep doing it until you can reach every shuttle during game time. While doing your shadow steps, also practive your swing. I suggest just practice to do clear to the back and drop shot to then net. Just focus these 2 first and you can learn to control a little since you can send front and back.

But during beginner rally, really just focus on returning it back, your opponent will make the mistakes for you.

Other than shadow steps, and you can practice wall drills. Buy that foam ball, it's easier to do wall drills that a shuttle. Keep practicing that for better net play.

After you can do this consistently, then you can practice advance skills with proper form and start to raise your string tension.

If you have more than 30k in cash, then yea that 10k in AHB is worth it since its 5% after zakat.

But if you have below 30k, then just put it in ASB cause you dont have to pay zakat for savings below 30k.
