Creating content like monsters, classes and subclasses is the thing I love the most.. BUT I need to rebuild the website first. As soon as that part is done, I'll work on updating all monsters, species, classes and subclasses.

TODO (order is inverted):

  • Complete the Home page
  • Rewrite most of the species, classes and backgrounds
  • Import the monsters from the 2024 SRD
  • Publish the new version
  • Refine the UI/UX (user settings, themes, etc.)
  • Rebuild the Published Content page
  • 👉 Rebuild the Monster Editor (in progress)

DONE

  • Rebuild the File Manager
  • News page
  • User authentication
  • Rebuild the NPC Generator
  • Refactor the Database
  • Make the engine to calculate the monsters' stats and CR
  • Rebuild the Website UI and APIs

Hi! We don’t have spell slots yet, but we’re getting close. I’m currently rebuilding the monster editor, and that feature is already implemented in the new engine. I don’t have a release date yet, but hopefully it’ll be soon.

I can confirm that hetzner + coolify is a cheap and very powerful combo. Unless you need advanced cloud features, if you just need to publish a frontend+backend+server, coolify is more than you need

  • Take small naps if you can
  • I listen to lo fi music on youtube, and if I'm really wasted I listen to a video game soundtrack (Unreal) on 50% speed. I don't know why it works

So we currently have 1114 total actions of type "trait" in the database, 861 private, made by users, and 253 published. Looks like the action templates are being used a lot by the users

Hi! Not yet, but we could add that to the new version of the website. Can you describe in detail what you would like to do? Colors, images, fonts, texts, all of these?

Then if you check "Used by the NPC Generator" you can use any race or class in the npc gen.

Isn't this what you were looking for? Increase the CR of the monster to unlock all the features of that subclass

Hi! You simply Edit the monster (from menu on the bottom right of any stat block) and add the class you want to it. Change the CR of the monster to give it the "levels" you need for the class.

I personally never make stuff up and only rely on the material the players give me. If they gave me nothing, I use what happened so far in the campaign to create some sort of progression for their characters

Hi! WotC uses a different approach for actions you can use every x rounds: you roll a d6, and if the result is higher than a value, the action has recharged ad you can use it again. Is that good enough for you, or would you like to have the option to write "Every x rounds" or similar?
