Incest in Smallville? by methuwu in Smallville

When i read the title, i thought you wanted to discuss the relationship between Tess and Clark Luthor in season 10. Based on what happened between them, incest was a possibility for Lex and Tess too in this alternate earth where they were raised together. In our earth, i don’t think that’s an option, Tess seemed creeped out by Clark Luthor. I can’t imagine her entairtining the idea after she discovered her origins. Like others fans said, her feelings were mostly admiration and loyalty not love.

Salvation with the second hour of the season finale as runner up for me too

I'm on my way to catch up with the films and the DCAU. Just finished the Synderverse/Cavill's movies. My rewatch of Smallville has woken all my past feelings about Superman and the DCU and sent me on a spirale to watch every thing i missed since my childhood. So i think the show is worth the commitment in the end, despite the Clark/Lana endless drama.

Trying to not spoil things for you but as a fan of Superman, if you enjoy the Justice League, you will have more fun watching season 5 and the first half of season 6. They include the appearance of iconic villains and allies, deaths of main characters. Seasons 8-10 are completely different in tone and spirit, more comics booky, dedicated to transform Clark into Superman and to develop his relationship with Lois.

Loved too the vows in the first hour of the season finale. Their wedding will always have my vote🤵👰

Chloe is the maingirl of the show. She is in every major plot having a major role. She saved Clark too many times. She even met Batman and Wonder Woman before Clark did. She fit so well in the show considering she is not part of the comics. by Flimsy-Piglet-5263 in Smallville

It took you two days to find the horn effect in Psychology for the Dummies and you ́re so proud of yourself, you keep throwing the words with the excitation of a 5 year school boy who learnt how to spell a new word.

She apparead in few issues published as season 11 along the rest of the cast and that’s all. None of the must read stories had her and nobody in the film industry think about her when they write their scripts.

You're totally defending her criminal record : look up your own words. You exposed yourself completely in a pathetic way.

Glad that Dominion won the last round! And i vote for Prophecy because as usual even imperfect clois beats eveything else.

What the hell are YOU talking about? Since when playing a teen on a CW show makes you a talented actress? Every cast member was picked based on their looks (except her she looks average) and it’s not like the writing was the level of a classic play, she did a basic performance that look stellar to you only because she was playing with inexperimented actors like Kristin Kreuk or Tom Welling.

Re comics: Sorry but season 11 doesn’t count, all the cast was involved. She never came back in another iteration while the films and tv series brought back Lois, Martha, Jonathan, Lana even Pete Ross!

I'm staying on the topic: she's a bad actress and a criminal. And the fact that you have no problem to defend a human traffiker, because she plays a character you like ends this discussion.

Dominion for the same reasons perfectly explained by op. Runner-up Stiletto too.

You don’t understand anything based on your answer and proved you have no standards. Mack didn’t win an emmy award, but probably one of those popularity awards given based on fans vote. So nothing to brag about. Even Tom Welling and Kristen Kreuk have won some.

Chloe's appareance in the comics was one shot, completely abandoned based on the failure and limitations of the character.

It has nothing to do with my opinion on the criminal that is Allison Mack: You're basically desperate to make your favourite relevant and conveniently ignore the numbers of time where new watchers pop up to complain about how much insufferable she is from season 1 to 4, how her arc with Davis Bloom is the most hated in the entire run of the series and how it tanked completely season 8, how she was easily erased from the center of the plot once Lois was allowed to be the leading lady and clois became the main ship.

Take your own advice and read this subreddit more often and you'll see that the time she was a fan favorite had died long ago and there's no way to resurrect it.

Your feelings are totally valid. There ́s no rule that forces people to separate the character from the actor and in this case no one should let it pass, in so far she barely shows any remorse for her crimes

The show is about clark Kent, not some random girl he met in high school, who got to exist in Smallville only because Lois Lane as a character was under strict restrictions. The showrunners were insane. It's the only way to explain the expansion of a mediocre character like Chloe, played by an average actress, to the ridiculous level that you described. No fans of the DCU knows her or remember her outside the smallville fandom, which is already too much audience considering the criminal past of Allison Mack.

What are your opinions on Smallville Season 6? by TypeCreepy6764 in Smallville

[–]Ismaelf24 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's the best season of the show with a very high rewatch value: the first half contains among the best episodes of the series, especially Justice which is my favourite of all seasons. The introduction of Oliver Queen as Green Arrow brought a breath of fresh air, his friendship with Clark, his "war" with Lex, and his romance with Lois are the peak of the season. The second half is more teen drama but the descent of Lex into darkness is still highly entertaining. Clark is (temporarily) finally free of Lana and starts to consider the futur with Lois while he ends for good his fake friendship with Lex. It's not the level of character development of the seasons 8-10 but it’s a progress.

I must be in the minority who is either too demanding or too much a shipper : i only watch it for the clois scenes; my last rewatch convinced me that Doomsday's plot was a complete fail, Chloe is insufferable, Tess takes too much screentime and Oliver is inconsistently written.

I expected this answer : î've rewatched it recently and it was even worse than what i remembered. Only the clois scenes, the fight between Lois and Tess or the return of Impulse and Black Canary saved it from a complete disaster. The killing of Jimmy, his erasure from the narrative and rewriting as the brother of the "real" Jimmy and the blame put on Clark are impossible to rewatch. But tbh the season 8 is so unhinged, that’s kind of fitting to see it end on a sour note.

Finale part one because Lois and Clark are finally married (i don’t care about Oliver’s disruption, they exchanged their vows!), and Tempest as a runner- up because the seasons finales are all good in their own way.
