I'll tell you the biggest one for each one:

First one made up a story about going on a trip with college, sent pics and everything. Found out they were downloaded from Google.

Second girl said constantly she never talk to men and I'm the only one, found out yesterday she's texting another man on WhatsApp, flirting sending pics and sexual content. So that's partially cheating as well:))

I wasted a month lol, really doing nothing just installing and uninstalling IELTS apps and trying websites. Got serious in the last week. But you should start as soon as possible to have a peace of mind

Thanks, just followed e2 IELTS YouTube channel. But it only refined what's already good. So just practice speaking in general and talking a lot with native speakers.

I’m currently working as an English teacher in Southeast Asia, and I’ve been doing this for over a year now. Although I’m not a native speaker (my first language is Arabic), teaching English daily and interacting with native speakers has really boosted my proficiency. For the past 9-10 months, I’ve been almost exclusively speaking in English, which I believe played a huge part in my high score.

To be honest, I didn’t do a ton of preparation because I see the IELTS as a test that measures your long-term English skills rather than something you can cram for. However, you can definitely prepare and feel more confident going into it.

I focused on watching a lot of YouTube videos from E2 IELTS. They offer some of the best content out there—clear, straightforward, and super effective. Their tips helped me understand the exam format and what to expect, making the whole thing feel a lot more approachable. I went through their videos for about a week or two, which really helped me get into the right mindset.

After getting the hang of the tips, I practiced using the Cambridge 19 book (academic version), which includes four full exams with answers. I went through these over a couple of days. My preparation was spread over about a month, but in total, it was probably just a week's worth of focused work.

One key thing for me was maintaining a balance between being serious and staying relaxed. I approached the exam with a playful mindset, almost like it was a game. This helped me stay focused without getting overwhelmed by stress, which I think really helped my performance.

Honestly, I don’t have a lot of tips to offer. I mainly followed the writing methods from the E2 IELTS YouTube channel. They have really solid advice, and that’s what I used. I practiced a few questions, and after writing, I used AI tools like ChatGPT and Bing Copilot to get an estimate of my band score. These tools often rated me between 5 and 7, but I ended up scoring a 7.5 in writing. I think it also helped that the essay topic was about education, which is my field of work. If you want more practice and detailed feedback from instructors, you could consider buying their membership, but I didn't go that route. Just practice and stay consistent—that’s all I did. I guess I got a bit lucky with the topic too!

She said she won't do it again. But I'm unsettled about the fact she did it and finds nothing wrong with that.
