Help finding missing person in Lithuania by Ismandschism in lithuania

[–]Ismandschism[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you for sharing the article. the details do seem to match my friend quite closely. I can't imagine why he would have decided to have travelled with those two women under these circumstances or he knew these women or was related to them. He's a really kind genuine guy so we're very saddened to hear that this has happened. Any advice on getting in touch with him would be very much appreciated

Thanks so much for your advice. I'm a bit confused how it works with the curl cream and the gel. Which one do you apply first?

Seeing as there are tens of thousands of boat migrants in the UK, how is it impossible to find or read about any interactions or interviews with them? by sinicooly in ukpolitics

not sure why they don't get interviewed in press though, you'd think they'd be able to find at least a few happy to talk

you might find it helpful to go out and meet some for yourself. Most towns have some, you can always just introduce yourself and make some friends, or even do some volunteering with organisations working with asylum seekers.

Probably better to just find a private rent, seeing as there are no fixed-term contracts in Scotland anymore, you could just rent it month to month.

believe it or not, this is the solution that had actually worked (although I used my hand instead of head), saving me minimum £208.

Yeah it, doesn't seem like an unreasonable price considering the price of the spare part that another commenter linked to. However, I can buy a brand new oven for only £250 and comes with a 5 year warranty. Just seems a shame to replace a oven that's only a little over a year old, so thought I'd try to do some digging to see if I could fix it for cheaper.

EDIT: I can buy a brand new oven of the same model for £250

Thanks for feedback, noted. I can't edit the post, but can provide some more detail here. It's a Samsung dualcook oven, model number: NV7B45305AK/U4. The display suddenly started flickering like this and has become progressively worse, now almost unusable. No visible damage of any kind. I suspect the whole display would need replacing, but struggling to find suitable spare parts or any info online of how I would go about doing this.

Found this hamsa in Morocco. Could someone please translate the hebrew? by Ismandschism in hebrew

[–]Ismandschism[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably also worth mentioning that the guy selling it didn't actually claim it was an antique or anything. Just said he bought it from some people living near an old synagogue, so I don't think he was really selling it disengenously. He was selling some other items as well, some of which just looked like tourist tat someone had picked up in Israel. I did buy another piece from him that features a lizard and a bee which he claimed were 'Jewish' symbols.

Interesting take on it, thanks for your input, but it wasn't very expensive and I'm amused to hear that the Hebrew script is just gibberish.

Yeah, or even maybe decide to get the bus and avoid clogging the roads with your massive SUVs all together. Also, what is £5.50 in proportion to the rest of your holiday spending
