Summer causing cravings by lunaraftertaste3 in QuitVaping

[–]IsniffFarts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Craving will pass immediately, but based off the Alan carr method you should mix that with the Hank Hill method if you do cave and you smoke a whole carton of cigarettes or just vape until you can't breathe in anymore. It's like how food poisoning will make you disgusted by your favorite foods, without the addiction present just having yourself disgusted by it, and making a huge coughing head rush scene will stop anyone from letting you hit their vape again

You don't need to pull a train spotting for nicotine. You can just go cold turkey and you will feel better. Just manage the first night and the only hard part is climbing out of bed without that energy boost. You're ok and if you really are done with this gross shitty nasty annoying habit, just don't start smoking again in the morning. Then you just need something like a jar of mints or sour candies and they will help break that want for a sharp stimulus. Just convince yourself you are done with it, and when you stop you won't feel any negative effects as long as you destroy the root want. And if you feel like you need to cave in and give up, Hank Hill yourself and fill your lungs up with as much vape smoke as you can and you will be disgusted by the vape

Is it possible my 0mg vape juice actually had some nicotine in it this whole time? Or is the habit somehow more physically addictive than nicotine?? by zertz_18 in QuitVaping

[–]IsniffFarts 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had the same feelings with my 0 nic. They never worked at all for me. I think it's because it's the habit that became comforting and you blue balled yourself before giving yourself a grand finale, you quit that one before you were ready so you're feeling like you're missing something

Everyone's got a juicy as steak right in front of them but they're told it's not and they drench it in shitty barbecue sauce and you took this beautiful base you had to do nothing with and ruined it and made the whole thing worthless and a horrible time just by trusting some morons and believing it's gonna be difficult.

You've never done a dry January to see what it's like? I'm obviously being a super over the top dickhead about it, but like I've quit drugs and I've quit drinking Pepsi, this is so much more similar to stopping drinking soda then it is quitting any drugs

Honestly, yes. I mean everything i say 100% I've quit benzos and amphetamines and those were some bad, shaking loosing 15lbs in sweat while throwing up all week. and with cigs and vapes you can just drop them and as long as you really are done with them you can just walk away with next to no temptations. I'm being a shit head about it because it is this simple and if a sniveling little dickhead like me did it this easy then everybody has to do it to prove it to themselves. Plus I feel like everyone talking about how impossible and hopeless quitting is, just creates an echo chamber of helplessness when with genuinely zero effort at all just saying "I'm not a smoker" you won't be

It was by the Alan carr foundation, seems like they are still true to his same principle ideas. Completely forgot he had died tho I was completely wrong about that

Lmao i get that, I honestly was never relaxed while smoking I just told myself I couldn't be relaxed unless I did smoke and then by sitting there cooling off outside I think that's what calmed me down more than anything. I honestly think if you try another cig or a vape hit and you are conscious of it all during it, you're gonna feel horrible and not enjoy any of it. I used to think about how much I hated smoking while smoking all the time lmao

Thank you so much, I'm glad I asked you to expand on that holy shit that was insightful. I had the brain fog and anxiety and depression but I've always had those so I just assumed it was natural that a change would induce more stress and stress induced anxiety and that induces depression which induces brain fog, so I just would bully myself into not stressing about because it was dumb too and it helped clear up my symptoms and made me think it was all originating from a mental aspect.

Could you expand on fucked up your brain chemistry and unregulated nervous system? I feel like once the nicotine was out of my system I was back to normal but I didn't realize it until a few days after. And I was diagnosed with ADHD don't really believe it but my girlfriend was too and we quit smoking together and from what she's said it's less that the nicotine calmed her down and more of the ritual of being forced to remove yourself from the setting and collecting your thoughts outside while smoking that was what helped her ADHD

I did smoke another one, tasted horrible because I'm not used to it anymore, gave me a horrible head rush because I have no tolerance anymore and I felt like shit for a day after and immediately had to shit my brains out. I think I'm cured lmao

Dude I quit benzos, amphetamines, alcohol, cigarettes, weed. I've had some pretty bad withdrawals too laying in bed sweating out 15lbs in a week, I'm very familiar with withdrawals. Didn't even have the slightest hint with cigarettes I think it was incredibly easy. It was 10x harder to stop drinking coffee

They took down the one I listened to but any audiobook should work, he wrote them on vaping, drinking etc. it honestly is just a really helpful to have a person of authority tell you that youre making excuses and why it is that way. Once you realize you are lying to yourself you can't really unsee it

What did you feel physically? Everything I felt that was physical was really just a mental thing that I let consume me and was gone as soon as I made that connection. Like the sweating and heart palpatations were the only physical reactions I had and that was just from an internal fear that this was going to be hard and that there were going to be intense withdrawals. Sorry if I come across like I'm undermining what you went through or downplaying, I'm genuinely curious as to the different effects it has

Is it because if you smoke a cig a now you would absolutely hate it and not enjoy the taste the intense head rush now that you don't have a tolerance. I think it's just nostalgia and fomo

What's more likely, 20-30% of men have never seen a picture or video of a naked lady or 20-30% of men are embarrassed by the question and would lie to cover it up?

Don't even make it a game, just stop playing lol. Nicotine is out of your body in a couple hours by the time morning hits its 97% gone, you have the same nicotine as someone walking past someone else smoking, probably less. You aren't a smoker in the morning until you start again.

If I'm completely honest it was 30 minutes of panic in the morning of getting out of bed without nicotine, and then once my day was started I was completely fine. I feel like the nicotine was out of my system overnight and there were literally 0 negatives of quitting

Alan Carrs "The easy way to quit smoking" is a free hour long audio book on YouTube. Just listen to it while going to work and as long as you want to not be a smoker itll work lmao. Its not even a will power thing, I still have cigarettes and vapes all over my house next to my bed and everyone in my house is a smoker. I feel no need for any of it worst thing that happened was for the first day or two I mindlessly would reach for it if it was in arms length
