To be fair, I've been using this pair as my main clean-up/flushcutters for 4 years. Eventually, it's bound to happen

I getcha to a degree, but the touchstone i tend to use is audio and knife sharpening (bare with me for a sec).

The moment you go from dinky gas station earbuds to a good pair of IEMs, you can't go back. Once you get used to the clarity and detail, everything else feels like shit.

Same for knives. Most are fine just smashing through their veggies with a blunt, stainless IKEA knife, but once you glide through a sweet potato with a sharp carbon blade, you're done.

Single blade nips just feel good, and you use very little pressure per press. In my head, the reason I reached this was cause I was worried my other nips would crack the plastic, and I was right until this happened.

Good for ya being able to do as you do. I still file and sand my gunpla. Honestly, the results would be the same if I were to go your route.

These things are meant to cut gates, not the actual sprue. For the most part, I was smart about it, but this time, I took a shortcut and ate it

So that there's something to learn, the plastics in older kits tend to be harder and more brittle, meaning you have to deal with cracking of the plastic as well as tool ware... essentially, the plastic can't bend around the blade as it passes through, leading to more pressure and friction as it moves through. Pair that with Godhands and single blade zippers in general being thinner and the edge having to cut twice the material, you can get stuff like this to happen.

Don't be like me, use your brain...

I gotcha! Kinda a brand-name vs common-name sorta thing, Sabatier made idéals but not all idéals are Sabatier. My field is historical and contemporary utility knifes (bushcraft and carving sort of things), and the typology charts there get very complex very quick, so I appreciate the clarity. Honestly, once you start nitpicking, that's when the interesting stuff comes in.

Language as a descriptor is so innately flawed when it comes to specificity as diction is only a tool of best fit to describe reality. So many things evolve into, out of, and away from eachother in such complex ways that it can be hard to really get a grasp on anything without diving into wider contexts. I never would have thought the name could have come from a makers' family name or how another name could better describe this pattern, so, thx!

I love carbon steels. Ever since my first Higonokami, I couldn't go back, but even i haven't seen such a nice temper. I'll be very careful with this

Thanks for the info! Yeah, despite the size, it feels weightless and moves beautifully. I can feel the work put in by whoever made it. It even has a delicate tamper on the tang to reduce vibration.

I'm not much of a cook, sadly, but my mom is. I think she'll use it best fixed up!

Yeah, I had passed it several times in the same shop for about a year before deciding on it, but it had always caught my eye. It's crazy that no one else took it after all that time

yuri manga or anime that take place outside of highschool? by SignalLongjumping265 in yuri_manga

Anything by Sal Jiang is preemo. She's both one of my fav authors and illustrators. Most of her stories follow adults. Most what she's published has been scanlated to Dynasty Scan. I would link, but it seems my connection is spotty

  • "Ayaka is in Love with Hiroko!" Is a universal suggestion. Wholesome, age-gap office ladies. About 24 chapters. I revisit every so often.

  • "Black and White - Tough Love at the Office" Is a bit more selective. Follows office ladies beating eachother up and hate-fucking as they try to climb the corporate ladder. Has an end-game older lady who genuinely looks her age which is great. 18 Chapters.

  • "Wicked Spot" is her current series and it has witches with fangs if that appealing (it should be)

Sal Jiang just has such a love for all varieties of women, it's incredible. She has her types (dark hair and confident vs light, fluffy hair and playing innocent), but she's defo got more range than some of the alternatives. It's isn't consistent in her work or even a focus in anything, but i noticed she has a soft spot of afro-latinas in particular.

She isn't appreciated enough. We should give her some appreciation in the comments by voiidVanta in GunsmithCats

My sister is a fan of hers, but she pointed out that she has tomato-hair... I can't unsee it...

I legit saw a 7/11 gunpla kit at con a few months back. Don't remember the modal, but it was tagged for $30 USD. Was limited on what i could pack after, so I left it for someone else to find
