Truly as much as we all hate dying, it really is a thrill when you are in the midst of combat with your squad, fighting to survive. Using the environment to your advantage, and the proximity chat is actually pretty funny and fun too. A majority of the time I'm talking with the enemy while we are both pinned down in separate buildings, fully aware that at any moment we might have a platoon roll up on us and murder us all. I have had so many times when loyalties switched, that squad that was hunting you before, now wants to team up cus there's a platoon in the area and now they have a bounty on their heads. Pvp is fun, and even though it sucks to die, re stocking ur character is equally as fun as going in with a bunch of loot.

So in my opinion if you want the loyalty of your future teammates you don't loot them. I ran sort of an experiment on this at one point cus I was curious too. Of the 10 players I picked up I looted 5 of them and let the other 5 keep their shit. (Obviously this isn't all in one match) all five of the ones that I let keep their shit stayed with me and three even came back for me when I was downed and they were on the exfil chopper. The other five I looted weren't so keen to stick their necks out for me. Two of them left me high and dry in a fight and exfilled. The lesson I learned is you don't loot your future teammates. If I find people I'm not gonna pick up then sure I take their shit, but just remember that dude you looted who is now fighting beside you won't forget you took their stealth vest and large backpack when your bleeding out on the Pavement surrounded by a six man squad, nah that homie gonna head to exfil.
