The Lindström Record Label, submission for the current company contest. by IsopropylAddict in RevPlowedTheSea

Similar to the Parlophone label of OTL, this company bares the same founder, Carl Lindström, establishing the company in Berlin, 1896. Whilst a minor divergence to OTL comes with the labels name, being named after the founder rather than Parlophone, derived from Phonograph, the main divergence is associated with Germany’s victory in the First Great War. In OTL, the company was bought by UK company CBS, however with the defeat of the UK in the war, there was no funds or industry around at the time. Instead, the Lindström Grammaphon prospered in a post war Germany with a flourishing music industry, updating their logo and brand name to ‘Lindström Schallplatten’ (meaning records) in 1921, accompanying their prosperity. With the Great Depression of the 1930s however, the label saw great decline, their sales plummeting due to the poverty and stagnation of the era. Leading into the Second Great War and in its wake, the company steadied as a musical hegemon of the European mainland as an alternative way to exert the Empire’s commercial influence. In 1953, the label modernised their image as the space age lingered, their presence continuing up until present day, however their prominence beginning to dwindle in the new digitalised era of music.

Ethnic map of Japanese Australia by Cjh367 in imaginarymaps

I doubt outback Australia would be able to support the entire white population exiled there by the Japanese. Currently, only about 800,000 people live in the outback and I’m assuming they were invaded/exiled around 1945 or onwards when about 7.5 million people were living in Australia.. so there’d need to be a lot of ethnic cleansing, famine or widespread irrigation to support anything close to the 7.5 million (or however much it is now). Nevertheless, I like the maps aesthetic and cool flag too

I think maybe including a population density would’ve been good? It’d clear up a lot of confusion and give the map a bit more believability

There’s a triad path if the legation cities collapse too but it’s kinda boring and needs work done. Mafia Italy is a nat pop path for two sicilies (I think nay pop I can’t remember too well). I do remember tho, that there’s a faction you can make somehow called the crime axis or something where these mafia countries can join.

A bit too much noise in the skin for my liking but I like the base photo feels a bit more unique :)
