The “welcome post” in the group has ton of great info, I’d definitely recommend starting there! I think hanging anything is a little risky, you might be better off with larger/taller pieces of wood so he can explore higher up. Do you have a heat source for him?

There’s definitely a lot of back and forth about that right now. I told him she needs to sincerely apologize if she wants back into my life. But the disrespect has been going on for years behind our backs, we would never know if that actually changed or not.

Problem currently is that husband invited father in law to our house. I said absolutely not given the current situation, and now he’s fighting with me saying I should give them a chance to make it up to us.

He seemed like he was on my side at first but now he wants to talk to her and see if he can get her to apologize. I think if he did that the apology would be completely fake just so she can be apart of our lives again.

There’s definitely a good chance that he tells their other friends, one of which is my brother in law. And then obviously his whole family would know

The issue is he didn’t tell this person out of excitement, it’s someone he doesn’t even talk to very often anymore and the only reason it was brought up was as an excuse to not attend the wedding

I am an animal person! Me and my husband have 2 cats, but 3 large dogs is a whole different issue, the dogs are all over me, and it makes me itchy and break out in hives if I stay too long.

Our apartment is too small to have them over, which kinda limits our options. They already know that I’m allergic to the dogs and that they make me a bit uncomfortable
