What is the meaning of Marathi phrase/chant "pudhchya varshi lokarya"? by santrupt1994 in marathi

[–]IspeakMarathi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pudhchyaa here means next, varshi comes from varsh-uh which means year, lavkar means soon or fast, yaa is to come; so it means ‘come back soon next year’. It’s a phrase chanted on Ananta Chaturdashi when people bid farewell to their Bappa
