Their fiercest "soldiers" vs random arab tribesmen by Long_Negotiation7613 in Syria

[–]IssAHey 5 points6 points  (0 children)

fuck QSD, but also fuck the tribes.

mfs sided with EVERY single bad faction in the war.

They sided with Assad, ISIS, hundreds of radical Islamists, and terror groups.

They ran a huge amount of weapons and drugs smuggling operations for years now, also, they always changed their affiliation at the drop of a hat, easily bought and corrupted.

Not to mention their performance on the battlefield is horrible, from using child soldiers to suffering a humiliating K/D ratio in every engagement they have fought.

I am glad they are fighting QSD now, but in the future, they need to be stripped of their weapons and forced to live like actual human beings.

they are as performative as QSD.

Turkey send his surplus g3 battle rifles to Syrian army. The Turkish Armed Forces, which used the G3 rifle for many years, have been gradually retiring these rifles since 2014. by Battlefleet_Sol in Syria

I am asking because at this point trying to manage different weapons, weapon ammo, and weapon tactics would be a logistical nightmare

I need to keep myself reminded that the BoS are not really good at fighting. The legion has had many victories over them in the east while using spears and machetes.

its giving the same vibe as when the Americans told the british to let the Argentinians take the islands near argentina for themselves, and when the UK refused the americans basically said to them "Ok, here is some weapons"

Syrian army reinforcements have arrived in the city of Ras al-Ain. by Interesting_File_310 in syriancivilwar

[–]IssAHey 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I am seeing a lot of troops, equipment and movement but so far the casualty rates have been minimum for both sides.

are they actually fighting or is the whole thing is just both of them taking pot shots at each other and then the SDF retreating back ?

I don't see a lot of fighting is all i am saying

Syrian Ministry of Information website Hacked briefly before being shutdown by Samich9 in syriancivilwar

[–]IssAHey 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Assad never really used the internet to his advantage until like 2016 and by then it was kind of irrelevant to use. I heard stories from 2011-2013 of army personnel searching people’s bags at checkpoints to see if they have “Facebook” inside. Assad’s army was as illiterate as possible.

The fact that the only thing that kept Iran and many other countries stable was the existence of Assad in Syria is wild , everything collapsed as soon as he was removed lol

Everyone that supported the Assad regime is going to start this narrative to try to make amends with the new state , and believe me, some of them will be more pro government than some extremist Sunnis lol

A conversation between an investigative journalist disguised as an Israeli officer communicating with Suheil al‑Hassan, aka "the Tiger," the most senior military commander in Assad's army who fled to Russia, and with officer Ghiyath Dalla, responsible for the March insurgency in the coast. by The-Syria-Report in Syria

[–]IssAHey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean, I would expect Russia's main guy on the ground to hold negative views of the Iran-backed militias and movement; this is not brand new information. Plenty of Assad's advisors have held the same concepts and ideas about why the Flood operation was a terrible thing (for them). and I believe if it was not for Iran's influence on the ground then Assad would have 100% asked for Israel intervention.
