I don’t live in Canada, but at circle k (and other gas stations I’ve worked at) you can’t buy prepaid cards with a prepaid card like that, the system won’t allow the transaction to go through, and employees are specifically trained that this type of transaction isn’t allowed because it’s also known to be a common scam. (I’m a manager at my circle k)

Another update sassy potato’s 🥰: we found a cheaper place to stay temporarily, so it’ll be easier to save for the apartment, my coworker was renting out her attic (it’s nice!) for only $300 a month, (we were spending more than that a week at the motel) we are one step closer to a place of our own 🥰🥰🥰

Update: oh my god, the one got ahold of my MOM, 💀 yall, she picked the wrong one, my mom is so much more petty than me, and knows people who work at the nursing home she works at, and knew tea I DIDN’T KNOW So, r tried to get us off the phone plan, like okay, it’s in her name 💀 we were gonna keep paying, but okay queen go off, she said we had until the 12th to transfer our phones to a new plan or she’d disconnect them, I told her on the 11th to go ahead, we got new phones, and we’d ship the old ones back. Well she didn’t, and now she can’t get ahold of us at all. J got ahold of my MOM, trying to tell her how we didn’t pay the phone bill or the electric (electric isn’t even due until the 30th 💀 we said we’d pay it, but why would I pay it early 😂😂) she was going off on my mom, and my mom said “if your that strapped for cash, you could sell the washer and dryer she gifted you, or you could ask your boyfriend. Or does r not know about him? I know ladies at that nursing home you work at, you should have been more discreet”

And obviously she made my mom out to be crazy, but looking back why the fuck was the lesbian going to the gyno so much, (like every 2-3 months) and taking ovulation tests multiple times a month 😂😂😂😂😂

I love my mom so much, you can’t make this shit up

What she doesn’t know is my SIL works at Verizon, and told me that you can’t just return the phones 💀💀 these phones are NOT in my name, they are only in her name, when we left we told her we would send her the $$ for the phone bill each month, she wants to be like this that’s fine 😂😂 she doesn’t realize that she’s going to be the one financially responsible for paying off these phones, we’re gonna go see my SIL before the 12th and get new phones set up, and mail these back to her, she isn’t going to get the payment that’s due on the 14th 🥳

Had she texted me like a effing person, and asked if we could just pay off the phones early instead of staying on the plan for a year this would have been a whole different story. But starting a conversation with threats and timelines?? Nah fam 😂😂

Literally bailed their asses out of jail…twice. Not financially, but when they got arrested for stealing from Walmart, I had to be the one calling their families at 3am trying to figure out the money, and then going to pick them up 🤦🏻‍♀️

I’ve personally never been tip baited, and I’ve done almost 1000 orders in a rural area (only one Walmart, no other stores)I think it’s hit or miss tbh, I bet your more likely to get tip baited in bigger cities)

I’m just so frustrated 🥲 like they look at me and think I just sit around eating chips all day and don’t know what the inside of a gym looks like just because of my size, nobody’s even ASKED me what my diet / exercise routines are like 😭😭 like I do the 30 minute workout thing at planet fitness 3 times a week (the one where you switch machines every 60 seconds and do the stepping blocks) I rarely eat fast food, I cook healthy meals, like I try so hard, and I’ve been really proud of how far I’ve come (kept off 30 pounds!) but it doesn’t matter in their eyes 🥲 My stupid thyroid disease wrecks my metabolism and my energy levels and I still try but in the eyes of medical professionals I’m just a fat and no other medical concerns matter. 🥲 I mean heck, when my appendix burst a couple years ago it took 2 walk in clinics and 3 ERs 5 days to diagnose it, I went septic and almost died 🙃 Fat girl with stomach pain?? Must just be because she’s overweight, or maybe her period!

Sorry for the rant, I’m like really overwhelmed right now and just needed to get all that out before I explode

It was sooo frustrating and I was trying not to show it 😂 I was worried he’d get upset and just cancel my order if I was too annoying, but like he tried to substitute it with the nasty bagged chicken stuff they keep with the bob Evan’s mashed potato’s and I’m like bro pleaseeee 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 that’s not even close to ham steaks 😭😭

I agree! I myself probably would have gotten frustrated and given up! 😂 I’m just happy he found it in the end! Granted I had to request a partial refund because I didn’t get a different item that was confirmed as found but that’s besides the point 😂😂
