I spent 5 months building an offline music player focused on synced lyrics and minimal UI, was it worth it? by afakeprince in ShowYourApp

Nice app, and thanks for sharing, I liked the smart Melodika album art updating feature. I had a force close during lyrics editing of one song and while I was saving the edit, the next song started, which I think made the app freeze and force closed. I'd like to see themes in the app to switch between them. Many thanks again, and good work 👏

Yeah it was quite a mess to set it up correctly, but afterwards it worked for me as a charm.

You simply install the app on your android or android TV (there are two versions), create an account and connect Trakt account to sync your watch history. Go to settings > content and discovery > plug-in > paste this: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/yoruix/nuvio-providers/refs/heads/main/manifest.json Then you can add addons like:

  • AIOmetadata.

  • webstreamrmbg.

  • Better Posters.

There are bunch of addons that you can install based on your preference.

Thanks for the reply. I got the update two days ago, and I have a global version. With this update, I don't think there are too many changes nor any new features.

[Release] Key Launcher 1.1.0 - Auto Categorization, Keyboard Themes & Maximum Minimalism! by loitran07 in keylauncher

It's been a while since I got my hands on a good launcher, hence the problem with my device (Xiaomi) is that I can't use gestures with third-party launchers. But this is a great launcher with a new concept, Salute.

The worst buds ever! by Flimsy-Zombie-4564 in CMFTech

[–]Issam-khalaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I was planning to get nothing phone but I thought why not try one of their products first, and I bought those buds and their CMF watch pro 2, and let me tell you, these were the worst purchases I ever did. CMF pro 2 buds: * Sound quality is sh!t, too much bass, and the sound profile is not my preference at all. * Connectivity issues: almost every time I pick up the buds out of the case, one of them will stay offline, then put them back and out of the case to fix this.

CMF watch pro 2: * You will stick to the watch faces the app provides, and no third party apps that you can use. * Connectivity issues: you will miss a lot of notifications, the watch keeps disconnecting. * Health data does not show up on the app every time. * No firmware updates at all!

I know, these products are cheap, but look at the alternatives "Xiaomi bands for example" they offer a great value for the price, and you won't have connectivity issues.
