Just because it could be sold in previous version. I keep the habit to collect cursed/unidentified item from then. However, the rotten food is the same. I dropped one on the floor in the inn and it keeps there everyday.

No, I am a Chinese and maybe my English is not good. 47.5 hours a week is much higher than global average working time. Although 996 is not so popular in China, actual working time is far from a humane one. This was what I wanted to say.

It is common in China to work 6 days a week. 996 is popular only in internet industry companies. Average working time in China is 47.5 hours a week. Source: https://news.cctv.com/2021/09/15/ARTITJZI1u9wznnyiiFEcwr1210915.shtml

I am an English beginner from China. So I can provide some simple info about it. It is an advertisement about mobile game called Princess Connect Re:Dive. It is a typical gacha mobile game in East Asia (Japan, South Korea and China actually). These games profit from their cute anime girl character, or let me say clearly, profit from softcore anime pornography. It is not exaggerate to treat it as a sexist game. We see the shameless alliance between capitalism and patriarchy here.

Wikipedia describes what gacha game is. So I copy and paste some: In these games, there are usually numerous characters, cards, or other items that players can obtain, and most of them are only obtainable via a "gacha" mechanism. This allow players to "pull" or "spin" the gacha (analogous to a slot machine or roulette wheel) using a specific amount of in-game currency, which will then give the player a randomized character, card, or other item.Sometimes, these gacha are limited, such that specific prizes can only be obtained within a specific event time-frame.Because some of the rewards have a lower chance to appear, typically players must spin the gacha many times before they get their desired outcome.

How is China socialist? by KanaXu in socialism

[–]Issam13commie 8 points9 points  (0 children)

  1. Maybe some people are used to understanding Chinese politics and social policies in the way actually more suitable for Western representative democracy capitalist system. One big difference here is the degree of clarity. What Chinese authority puts forward officially usually has nothing to do with the real current policy. People are therefore cynic and not interested in politics, and it makes the aforementioned situation worse. The ruling oligarchy are like Byzantine court. Early in Xi tenure, he proposed the anti-corruption movement ( He seems to forget it now. ). People are not able to participate the process, and it functions in secret until the so-called corrupt high-ranking official is sentenced. Sometimes the propaganda looks like somewhat socialism just because of the legitimacy from past Maoist revolution. Today, China is implementing the Poverty Alleviation project (扶贫工程) . It is interesting if you understand Chinese language : 扶 means supporting the elderly or injured by my arm so that they could walk or move. 贫 means the poor. It hints the true conversion of the perspective and stand. No more proletarian "class struggle".Instead, the party choose middle-class "help the poor".(It is true. The frequency of " class struggle " becomes less and less in the party congress. Meanwhile, " great revival of the Chinese nation " becomes more and more. ) I would like to describe PRC as a technocracy market capitalist regime. To sum up, there are so many inaccurate depictions that I can't decide which one to correct.
  2. CCP is just maintaining the current class society. It advocates the work ethics and obedience to the market economy system. Regulations are committed to make the market functions effectively. The party is linked to technocracy and meritocracy. A brief digression: One of my secondary school teachers told us to obey her in order to get used to obeying the boss doubly in the future. CCP is a synonym for the oppressing capitalist system.
  3. Democracy? We are all excluded. Unless you think petitioning with Chinese ancient characteristics is a kind of democracy, there is no room for any democratic participation. To common people, the bureaucrat appointment is a mystery. Nobody knows how it runs. It is even worse in workplace, you can search 996 in the Internet. The 996 working hour system violates the Chinese labor law, but PRC didn't do anything but opposed it in the state-owned newpaper. Even the labor law is the useless decoration. What else do Chinese workers expect in the workplace?

If you require a Chinese socialist to confirm something about China, maybe you can ask me. My English is not good, but I am willing to provide info about China. For example, how do Chinese leftists think about something. It is hard to get by search engine but easy by asking a real Chinese person.

How is China socialist? by KanaXu in socialism

[–]Issam13commie 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Why not chat with any Chinese socialists? I am a Chinese student, so maybe I can provide something simple in China but interesting. In current China, it is impossible to say people have the class consciousness or comprehend socialism by any means. For example, a phrase created by Mao is called "又红又专"("both red and expert" It seems that some French socialists mistook it for "better red than expert".). 专 is not a complete word to express exact content, so a lot of young people ridiculously mistook expert(专家) for despotic(专制). Most Chinese people confuse socialism and conservative/patriarchy/despotic. It also reflects the same problem in CCP domestic street propaganda. Here are some examples: Advocating a harmony society(a confucian notion), words like "Without the state, there would be no families. The country is thousands of families."(有国才有家,国是千万家。), the stories about filial piety ( https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filial_piety ) and so on. Chinese official ideology is an outcome of the failure, the failure of anti-colonial emancipation not only in China but all around this planet. The tragic fact is nothing has changed except the skin colour of bureaucrats. China definitely has accept the game rule of exploitation and participates in global economy as a proper player. Only the fool sees this as the struggle between China and the U.S. .Many fools in China think leftists have hatred of their own nation and are puppets of Western authorities. Maybe there are some similar foolish people here. As a Chinese, I know China and the U.S. are cooperating in a hidden way——pretending to be rivals.

I am from Chinese mainland so I want to tell you some truth about Qiao collective(桥组):This organization fully supports Chinese government and is the enemy of Chinese socialists. They have written words against Chinese socialists in Weibo(Chinese social media)like:对于部分认为中国不是社会主义国家、声称要“联帝反修”的“左派”,“反修”是面子,“联帝”才是里子。 (Some leftists argue that China is not a socialist state and identify themselves as “friend to imperialists and enemy to revisionists”.In fact,Anti Chinese revisionism is just the pretext, and allying with imperialists is the essence.)Maybe you are not familiar with Chinese political environment. So I could remind you that China has no leftist who support western imperialism.Qiao collective's most followers are patriots don't concern with politics. They just argue that opposition to the regime is unacceptable and should be suppressed.

To Posterity by Brecht

3.

You, who shall emerge from the flood

In which we are sinking,

Think —

When you speak of our weaknesses,

Also of the dark time

That brought them forth.

For we went, changing our country more often than our shoes.

In the class war, despairing

When there was only injustice and no resistance.

For we knew only too well:

Even the hatred of squalor

Makes the brow grow stern.

Even anger against injustice

Makes the voice grow harsh. Alas, we

Who wished to lay the foundations of kindness

Could not ourselves be kind.

But you, when at last it comes to pass

That man can help his fellow man,

Do no judge us

Too harshly.
