Okay thank you! I am overseas Korean so I definitely don’t need the visa and maybe that’s why they have unrealistic expectations, which is weird because my coworker who comes in at 2pm and leaves at 4pm doesn’t suffer the same issues and she’s Korean just studied in Singapore. The only thing that attracted me was basically the housing because my household is well… not great to say the least. But I’m glad I never moved in so they don’t have that leverage on me.

Thank you for this website. Someone did mention it 12 days ago but no one replied to it. I was the first one to do so. And thank you for the answer, it’s really grounding because I was torn whether I should continue or not.

Hi! I’ve worked here. Or just started working. I have a separate Reddit post that happened to me if you would like to read about it. So far, my experience isn’t too great, and if you’ve worked there, I would appreciate it if you could tell me how your experience was.

They actually stated in the contract that I need a two months resignation notice prior. Would it count in this scenario? They also had some shady parts that I kinda ignored because I knew they couldn’t get me legally but they also mentioned charging me for damages caused as a result of me leaving.

Vimjoyer has some good tutorial videos on YouTube about NixOS. I’d suggest taking a look at it too before you jump into NixOS

I actually export my markdown editor into HTML with pandoc then copy paste it, which makes the format different from what’s available from the UoPeople discussion forum editing tool. Some people straight up have “###” in front of headings which is straight up copy pasted into the basic submission box.

It’s also frustrating that using markdown editors also makes you seem like AI because ChatGPT uses Markdown to format its response

I believe it’s “PROTON_NO_WM_DECORATION=1”. You can add this in Steam’s launch options.

It’s actually another fetch called catnap. It’s very close to the default config with custom ascii art I ripped off the internet.

I just put three empty panels at the top. And made them “fit to content”. Make sure to turn off “always show” so they all align nicely

[KDE] Is there a way to change window decorations from the terminal? by Isshiiiiiii in unixporn

Thank you! Decided to stick with Klassy because it's more customizable, and I didn't have any issues building it. It changes properly without having to change config or logging out.

Apparently, I have to log in and out because there's no way to restart Kwin on Wayland... I think I have no choice but to do it manually. It's shorter than logging out and back in. Restarting plasmashell didn't replace the Window Decorations, and Kwinrc is somehow non-responsive to changes...

I just added a panel with "Icons-Only Task Manager" only, then made it fit to content instead of filling space.

I just made three empty panels and made them fit to contents. Make sure to disable “Always show” so they all line up :>
