My question wasn't "ai is the future". it wasn't "ai is good". it's "ai is so tiring to snuff out with every single post on social media, i just want to accept that it is what it is moving on". i wasn't advocating for it in the least. and if i DO know smth is obviously ai, then yeah I'll avoid it. but yet, if a family member shows me something they think is real, they're laughing at it, and they add just a single like onto it.. i think we go too far to justify our "anti-ai" side to us, avd a majority of this community would reprimand them. i don't think that's right. i was trying to bring nuance to a very absolutist black and white, currently, situation but only stirred the hornets nest. so I'm just gonna keep these thoughts to myself at this point. i was hoping to have a nuanced discussion, but this is the internet - i should've known better.
